who do you take when we pick and okoye, revis, landry, nelson, adams, posluzny, ginn, levi brown are all on the board.

i personally like landry/nelson or okoye/adams.

a starting caliber safety or DT,de will be needed next year with the loss of holliday, our shaky secondary, and aging front 7

If he's on the board, JaMarcus Russell. Dudes makin Notre dame look like children right now.

rusell has a great arm may be better then culpeppers great zize but makes
questionable decisions, quinn does not look special nor good in this game brohm played better than him at least he didint turn the ball over.i dont think brohm would declare for this draft but russel migth i would take russel over quinn.

People will argue with you about that but I wouldn't. I'm looking forward to seeing what Smith can do as well.

I'd seriously consider Russell too, but to answer the question....

I'd say Gaines Adams, but I get the impression his performance the other day made his stock a little shaky. Would anyone agree/disagree??

I think it would come down to Adams, Landry and Posluszny for mine.

I cant split 'em at this point.

it aint about what they do on the field most the time. Gaines will be a top 5 pick, and his combine workout will gaurantee that.

If all these people keep jumping around and throwing all these guys' names in the top five category jmarc will land at us.

I have so many different names come into play when talking about the top five that so far I don't know wtf is gonna happen.

I have seen landry tonite and he has been impressive. physical dude who can intercept the ball, something our secondary obviously has forgotten how to do.

I would if jmarc and cj are gone, it comes down to landry or ginn for me.

Landry if we are gonna play him right away. But than we have to move someone else hopefully in a trade for another draft pick.

ginn jr, could be dangerous in KR and PR if nothing else. Some say he is a little undersized for WR, I don't know his numbers but he is super fast.

I know this, we better not have a first round pick sitting around all year like we did with jason allen. Whoever we pick needs to have an immediate impact on defense/offense. Unless it's a QB we are grooming.

Ill take Posluzny in a heartbeat if hes on the board. Hes shown hes fully recovered from his knee injury and with a year or two behind Zach he'll become the next great Miami linebacker, it seems like a sure thing no matter how I play it out in my mind. The offense has the tools, it just needs a coordinater and a healthy Culpepper (who even at 80% will be better than anybody we draft this year) so the team should focus on getting younger in the defense. This kid can play any of the 4 linebacker spots in the 3-4 and he can drop into coverage or blitz the QB (just like Zach *wink* *wink*).

I've been hearing a lot about JaMarcus Russell lately so I decided to sit down and watch him play ND tonight. Prior to this game I was sold on Culpepper being our guy and thinking how we should not draft a QB. But after watching this game, I was in awe. Russell looked so good and if he is still there when we pick, I have no idea how we could pass on him.

This draft is extremely deep @ the DT position. The only one i would grab @ #9 is Alan Branch. As of right now i would want in this order. Dwayne Jarret, LaRon Landry, Leon Hall or Brian Brohm.

I see MIA signing Adalius Thomas via FA...so that would eliminate going OLB in the 1st round. So it depends which is MIA's second FA pursuee out of LG, CB, or WR.

If we trade for Randy Moss and sign a LG then maybe we select a DB...with NT in the 2nd round.

Other than a couple of bad throws, I was impressed with JaMarcus Russell....he is huge, has good mobility and a cannon for an arm. I think he would be worth a shot....he could be groomed under DC until he is ready. If he is gone we should go after a LB like Willis, or a DT/DE. Depends on who is on the board in the #9 spot.
