I'm not saying anything bad about the dolphins or that this season is lost, because it obviously not. We still have a great chance of making the playoffs if we win the games we need to. Im just curious about who you guys want our Dolphins to pick 1st round and why.

They got the draft forum for this type of question . . . but NT, DB (CB or S) or OLB seems fitting. If Crabtree drops to where we pick . . . man I would be Upppsseeet if we didn't sniff . . though I still think WR is not something I go after so early.

Since the draft projections are going to change like a million times and our position that we are drafting in will probably change a million times, I can say with absolutly certainty no one, anywhere will get it right at this stage

But i do have a better than zero percent chance of getting it right if i just say someone that is the the defensive backfield.

ya i agree, besides crabtree, there would be no point on drafting a reciever so early, bc even though i feel like we can use a reciever still, ginn has finally become a lot more dependable aside from those few dropped passes in the pats game, and camarillo should be ready for next season, and bess has shown glimpses of what he can do.

Brandon Spikes. The guy is huge, he's a monster on the field, and understands how to quarterback a D from the middle. He's strong in run support and can cover. He should be around in the later middle area of the first round.

ME!!!!!! Do you know how much 1st rounders make?? I don't care if we win the superbowl and I am the 32nd pick that is still a hunk of money. More importantly I will represent myself and will not hold out no matter what. I will sign the first contract that is equal to last years pick at the same slot.
I am 5-11 255+ can jog a mile in about 35 minutes, can bench 180 lbs about 8-10 times, can jump.....off the ground, and can eat three hotdogs in less than 90 seconds...all the way hotdogs, none of this weinee and bread crap. Although I have never played football I have played a lot of madden and won some superbowls on all madden, so my football IQ is not too shabby.
And best of all if I do get drafted by the dolphins I promise not to sign anything in my contract that says I can't come on here and give you guys the inside scoop on what is happening on the team. That way all you guys will have an inside source.
I also promise to help the team as much as Jamar Fletcher....which means I will stay out of the way and not mess things up.
DEAL??? Where do I sign??

I want either a pass rushing outside linebacker, or defensive back. Both help get pressure on the quarterback in their own way. Right now, our leading sack man is Joey Porter at 14.5, the second best is Vonnie Holliday at 3.5. That's an 11 sack difference. Besides Porter, we have very little pressure.

Clint Sintim, Aaron Curry, George Selvie, Brian Orakpo, Greg Hardy. Any of those guys would be great.

Vontae Davis, Malcolm Jenkins, DJ Moore. Again, great talents.

I know some of these guys won't be available, but they're all solid options.

KTWONFINFAN is my choice. I want that free inside information.

Lol, seriousely though. My choice would be Clint Sintim. He's the perfect fit for our defense. He could come in and start right away because he plays the position we need in college. He can be an immediate contributor. He can rush the passer, stop the run, and drop back into coverage. Best of all, he would put Matt Roth on the bench, where he would be very useful and provide great depth.

Do you, by any chance, know Ireland or Parcells personally?? If so maybe you could put in a good word for me.

Thanks to all who replied, i know theres a draft forum for this but i realized that after i posted it, but whatever. I personally would go with either a pass rushing linebacker like Sintim, or Malcolm Jenkins out of Ohio

I think we almost certainly go with a SOLB...which leads me to my two choices. Clint Sintim, the ready-made prospect, or Brian Orakpo who might struggle with the transition for a year, but his size/speed are rare to find; must work on pass-rush moves.
