Between Lance Shulters and Ty Law...who do you think we should sign?

Happier with Schulters than Tillman starting?
I just have a feeling Law would cost a lot more money. Plus, Lance Schulters could be a starter for a couple of years while Law would just be a one year gap player.

I dont like Law. Not because he played for the team i HATE THE MOST, I just dont think the phins should pay a lot of money for a player who has an uncertain future, injury wise.

i say lance and if we can get bobby taylor on discount

The coach says Lance all the way.
Same here...Is he fully recovered from injury or whatever it was ?... Is he close to Kevin Carter?... Would he automatically start you think?

I like Lance better as well, and I agree with most of what everyone says. Honestly, between the 4 corners we have, and an unknown entity in Alphonso Roundtree, I think safety is the position that is in more need of help. Also, Law is coming off an injury, and at his age that could be a sign of things to come.

Can we get surtain back. Seriously why did we trade him for cap reasons if we have brought in 2 expensive guys already, so we got 2 for 1 but hurt our secondary. Can someone please explain this to me.

Oh and to answer the original poster, not Law, too expensive.

Did you see the contract Surtain signed? One of the top 3 richest contracts ever given a CB. Plus the fact we got Roth with the pick for him and those guys contracts are NO where near the realm of Surtain. Plus Poole at the time was looking like a very strong candidate as a replacement.

It was hedging that we had enough talent to cover for losing Surtain. Poole went down, and bad luck for us. Surtain had to go though, we had to get something for him.
