When they announced Ginn's name it was like a slug to the gut. My day was ruined. If I was at the practice bubble I probably would have tipped a car over and set a trash can on fire.

Yet here I am today feeling completely different and loving the direction of the draft. I went from totally irate/hopeless to completely enthused/hopeful.

What a rollercoaster weekend. I love the draft.

i did and i taught i was going to throw up wen they announced ginn was the pick
 
hahahaha When they announced Ginn's name I was dumb struck. I just stood there showing no emotion and I pretty much ignored the rest of the draft but I do feel much better now. I think it's obvious they had a plan and stayed the course. The guys they have drafted with their first draft may or may not turn out to be very good, we'll just have to wait and see on that but there is no mistake that they are going to change the attitude of our offense and I think that's great.
 
May I ask who we drafted that got all you guys to love our second day?

Was it the FB from Hawaii who nobody even expected to be drafted? Was it the mediocre C/G from CMU? Was it the P? The DE/OLB who is too small to play on the line and too slow to play linebacker? Are we talking about the same team here?
 
I made my 180 yesterday after we picked Beck.. I also hope we draft another QB next year. :D I don't want to see another QB drought around here.
 
i'm at about 140 right now.. everything still needs to process. I can't wait to see these guys in camp though, that's when i really start to get excited
yesterday was rough though, when all my friends were coming up to me and laughing hysterically after our pick-- the more i think about it i'm getting more excited, but somehow quinn and jarrett still would seem better to me than ginn and beck.. but we will see, i trust our FO. go phins!

It was more about digesting the first day.
 
they said zach thomas was too small, maybe that full back(351lbs) we drafted reminded cameron of lorenzo neal, and just maybe the center they drafted was the highest rated after kalil.
 
i need results till i see results i will change not mad not shocked no more i am just numb and want to see nothing but positives i am tired of losing
 
Even though we drafted a guy at 9 who may not be healthy next, the second day of the draft was worse than the first. HOW COULD THEY GO THRU 10 DRAFT PICKS AND NOT DRAFT AN OFFENSIVE TACKLE. We are dying at that position. I guess they enjoy the process. The reason Trent Green is not here is he called Cam and told him to forget it! He's one hit from a dirtnap and he ain't going to no team that has no blocking!

Well Yeah, I would have felt that way no matter who they drafted. It's all about seeing results on the playing field regardless of the player, the round, or the overall pick.
