I personally wouldn’t be surprised to see a coaching change in St. Louis, the Rams’ roster is far too talented for them to not be perennial contenders for a spot in the NFC Playoffs. A fourth straight losing record could get him canned on early downs of the season. It is the NFL, it stands for NOT FOR LONG..

On the other hand, the Miami Dolphins consolation prize after losing out on Fisher hasn't fared better either. He hasn't made the playoffs despite having numerous chances to win-and get in in back-to back years. If the Dolphins miss the postseason for the seventh consecutive season, Joseph Philbin will likely be let go. But not early though, he his known for late-season collapse unlike his St Louis Rams counterpart, Jeffery Fisher who always seem to find a way in late season to salvage the season by beating good to great teams. To sum up, 2015 is a postseason-or-bust year for the Dolphins. If they reach the AFC Playoffs for the first time since 2008, Philbin will likely keep his job. Other than that, there is no reason to let Joe go.

Fisher.

Lack of playmakers and o-line. And now they're relying on one year wonder Foles at QB. Placing alot of unneeded pressure on their defense.

Recipe for disaster. We have seen this story before with Wanny and Saban.

Offense is terrible

Who cares both of these guys suck as NFL coaches at this point. I didn't want either guy.

Jeff Fisher. Miami has really shored up the team and with Tannehill's trajectory there isn't much Philbin can do screw up the team. Philbin will benefit from a good/great front office and rising stars on the field. Philbin will have to just step out of the way.

I'm not sure that there will be enough crow to go around after the Dolphins success this coming year. And Philbin will be responsible for a lot of it.

Both teams will be fighting for the lombardi in February. Subscribing to this thread and will bump when I'm right...

I thought Joe should have been fired after the last two years so I will go with Fisher.

Fisher has a much worse record than Philbin, with the benefit of more control over personnel and had a much more polished QB. You don't think he should have been fired at any point?

If any coach can mess up success its philbin.

I think Joe does just enough to keep his job longer than Fisher

With ross u dont have to do much to keep your job. Mediocrity sells with him in football business.

I don't care about Fischer -

Philbin needs a whole lot of things to go right for him to not get fired.

He has sucked at shoring up our O-line and I am so damned tired of seeing Tannehill get hit so often.

So until he takes care of that we are vulnerable to having a Matt Moore season.

Not optimistic about that.

To add to that, drafting a running back in the 1st round who may not be ready or 100% until midway through the season, if at all. With an already poor offensive line. Their defense will always be on the field and we know how that works out.

Fisher pick wrong team.at time NfC west division. Was weak but that hardest division. Now. I hate to say it but Joe will get fired first. He will find way to lose close games. At end of year

I (for some sadistic reason I can not explain) still have a level of respect for Joe... this isn't a football feeling but I just like the man and want him to succeed... I will pull for him to get my beloved team to the playoffs and deep into them this year, keep his job, and bring back the respect this team deserves.

If he doesn't then a simple good bye is what he will get from me... And he will deserve it...

And Screw Fischer...
