I personally wouldn’t be surprised to see a coaching change in St. Louis, the Rams’ roster is far too talented for them to not be perennial contenders for a spot in the NFC Playoffs. A fourth straight losing record could get him canned on early downs of the season. It is the NFL, it stands for NOT FOR LONG..
On the other hand, the Miami Dolphins consolation prize after losing out on Fisher hasn't fared better either. He hasn't made the playoffs despite having numerous chances to win-and get in in back-to back years. If the Dolphins miss the postseason for the seventh consecutive season, Joseph Philbin will likely be let go. But not early though, he his known for late-season collapse unlike his St Louis Rams counterpart, Jeffery Fisher who always seem to find a way in late season to salvage the season by beating good to great teams. To sum up, 2015 is a postseason-or-bust year for the Dolphins. If they reach the AFC Playoffs for the first time since 2008, Philbin will likely keep his job. Other than that, there is no reason to let Joe go.
