Who Gets Waived ? ? ? {POLL}

From the looks of it many Dolphin Veterans are going to be cut in the coming weeks. Although I love to have guys like this on the team I understand that this is a business and that cuts need to be made. I might be wrong with some of the people I mention below but Here are my predictions:

TRAVIS MINOR (Already have good enough RB depth)

DONALD LEE (Lorenzo Diamond, Alex Holmes, and Jason Rader have impressed enough at TE...Lee is Inconsistent)

Derrius Thompson (David Boston or Derrius Thompson....i'm keeping BOSTON)

Dario Romero (Too many DL on the team and he's on the bottom)

Taylor Whitley (Do I really need to explain this one???)


DARK HORSE CUTS(not so sure of these guys):

Tony Bua (too many LB and Safeties)

Jamar Martin (good blocker and that's all)

Brendon Ayanbadejo (Great at Special Teams, but not Great)


Am I missing Anyone???

You cannot rank Martin higher than Heath Evans(signed recently as a blocking FB) and Sammy Morris(workhorse FB and good backup RB)....IMO he won't make because we can only keep so many Running Backs/Fullbacks

Martin makes the team. The other guys I really don't care for, but Ayanbedejo had a pretty good game against the Pats last year. He might make the team because he is a solid backup.

Yes I can, he is a better blocker then any of them. Morris is more a RB.

I voted for Donald Lee. I know he's disappointing but if he EVER loses the dropsies the guy could be a top 10 tight end in the entire NFL. I'm convinced of that. The guy gets open so fluidly and can run after the catch and is so athletic and yet he's a BLOCKING specialist. You rarely find that combination in a tight end. He may just need more reps to get use to catching the ball consistently.

Harris will make the team also, he is doing very well on special teams, Gordon will be gone. Plus Rickey will be out for the first 4 games!

I don't know if you've noticed yet but we're barely using a FB anymore with Linehan's Offense. Why do you think they are playing Wade Smith and Jason Taylor at FB? ? ?

I guess you did not notice Martin level about 4 guys blocking in the last two games, he pancaked them.

Ayan has done NOTHING this entire preseason, plus he's been injured.

You dont base keeping a player on one game last year, nay, 1 play last year

I voted for Ayanbadejo (sp?)

He's our best player on special teams coverage. He's always around the ball. While other players may be better backup RB's, FB's LB's whatever....he is the best on our team at something, I don't think that you get rid of that.
