Obviously Landry has taken over as the guy who gets the looks and is showing he is on track to have a long and productive carrier with Tannehill, But, i think tonight should a huge Wallace game. Tannehill and Wallace could use tonight on a national stage against a poor defense to quiet the talks about problems with Tannehill/Wallace/Longball.

I predict Wallace goes for 150 and 2 TD's

I do think that this is a game where Wallace can make some hay, but the thing is that we just aren't going to have the opportunities to get him the ball deep due to pass protection.

Dallas Thomas was getting flat out destroyed against Denver, and on a number of plays the QB had to elude pressure or simply get rid of the ball right off the snap as Thomas whiffed badly on his blocks. Until we are able to get a tackle in there who can do something -- anything -- to contain pass rushers, we're going to have to keep living with the short stuff.

Wallace has been nursing a hammy, its supposed to be 32 degrees tonight. I see Wallace as just being fast enough to be a decoy so we can make our bread an butter plays underneath. I would be surprised if we go deep to him more than once.

Listen here, I love Landry as much as the next guy but he isn't greater than Wallace yet. When I think of Landry the one guy who comes to mind is Hines Ward, if Landry can be a Ward type of receiver I will jump for joy. Wallace is so much faster than Landry, totally different types of recovers, I'd be lying to say Wallace wouldn't have better numbers with a QB like Luck, Tannehill does struggle with throwing a deep ball but I'd also be lying to say that Wallace doesn't open up opportunities for Landry because having him at the #1 spot creates other opportunities.

Wallace has been playing hurt. Bad hammy, sore knee...not sure how much he actually plays or how many times he runs deep routes. He might be a bit limited.

I think you will see 10 guys with at least one reception and no one break 100 yards...pretty much how every game has gone

I'm hoping for a good game from Miller and for the defense to actually tacklw somebody unlike last week.

They better tackle. No doubt the Jets will try to run the ball down our throats tonight. #5 rushing offense in the league, they were probably licking their chops after watching the way Denver ran all over us. If we don't come ready to stop the run it may be a very disappointing night.

You heard it here first- Hartline goes off today. Why? I dunno, just because I guess.

To answer the original question. Wallace will be better today. 80 yards an a TD.

I think Coyle will be ready for the 6 o-linemen front this week. Last week I'm sure he was afraid to put another S or LB in the box because Manning put the fear of God into him. Geno is no where the QB Manning is and I'm guessing they will make Geno try to beat them. Stack the box, pressure the QB and they should be fine on D. I just don't think they will be able to put up enough points to keep up with our offense.

On a side note did you see what KC did to Manning last night? They blitzed and pressured Manning all night long and when they forced him off his spot or made him throw the ball just a split second sooner it really disrupted the offense. God Damn Coyle pisses me off for playing in safe and letting Manning, Rogers and Stafford pick apart our zone defenses in long down and distance situations. Those ****ty game plans/play calling cost us at least 1-2 wins. Not gonna lie if Rex is fired I would love him as our DC. He just realizes much better how to attack an offense instead of letting it attack you. Plus he would really want to stick it to the Patriots and Jets.

Juice.

Our problem last week was the DBs not able to deal with all the pick plays Denver runs...most of which are illegal. Welker learned how to cheat and get away with it very well during his time in New England...I saw him stick his leg out a few times to pick off the defender on some pass plays...the 2-point conversion being the most blatant of all of them. Should have been a flag for tripping.

As for Rex Ryan...hell no. Rex, like his brother, is a loud mouth cancer. Rex is a better DC than Rob but we're too far removed from the 3-4 to switch back now. We don't have a true NT, with Starks likely gone next year we'd only have Odrick as a true 5-technique and we don't have press corners to run Rex's defense. I can't see Grimes trying to jam a 6'3" WR who probably has 4 or 5 inches of reach on him. It would be a 3 year overhaul since we're so strapped with cap money.

this is a tough question, and one I am trying to decide who to start. I think landry will get more looks, but Wallace has more potential for bigger plays, imo.
