Who Has been on the Dolphins the Longest?

I heard someone say if JT was traded, Ricky would be the player who has been with the team the longest. Is that right?

Yeah, Ricky Williams is now the longest tenured Miami Dolphin.

Both came to Miami in 2002 but Ricky was acquired before Yeremiah was drafted so technically Ricky's been a Dolphin longer.

How about in terms of games played? Because Jason Taylor had an incredible streak of consecutive games played well over 100, i dont know who the longest tenured Dolphin is but i bet (if it's Williams or Bell) that it's not the same player who has played the most games for this team.

I'd actually say Bell is longer tenured than Ricky since Ricky technically was not part of the organization in 04 or 06.

I stand corrected, it is actually a tie between Vernon Carey and Yeremiah Bell. Bell and Carey have been Miami Dolphins for five seasons, whereas Ricky has been a Dolphin only for four seasons. That's according to their bios on the Dolphins website.

Yeah, his contract i suppose would make him the longest tenured, but he's probably only played about what, 43 games with us? My guess would have been Carey for most games played.
