Who has been to the draft? Advice?

I might be flying to New York to stay with a friend the day before the draft. Has anyone been? We were thinking about going. It would seem it is free, and that it is first come first serve. Is it an all night camp-out kind of thing? How early do I need to get there? Any tips/tricks? Thanks!

Actually I think there is a group of FHers that are going to the draft. I haven't read the thread in awhile but a nice group is going.

i would like to know also because i still have it as a toss up.... should i go to nyc to watch the draft or should i go to miami to watch it at the practice facility (bubble)
