Who has the fastest BURST of speed on the team?

So i was thinking about the youth and speed we have at alot of positions and was wondering who on this team has the fastest burst of speed and why. NOT TOP END but that initial burst

My candidates....they are in no particular order

Vontae Davis- his closing speed is scary and he has an amazing ability from what i have seen to be trailing a guy at full run and just get a tiny bit more from a burst and make a big hit.

Ted Ginn- now i know his top end is the best out of players but he is a long strider and last week showed a burst to get to his top speed quickly.

R&R- yes i group the together because they basicly have the same burst the top end may be different but that bounce off contact to top speed burst is the same with both LIGHTNING FAST.

Cam Wake- off the ball this guy can flat out move for many tackles it's over right then and they have to hold or hope to work him outside.


Well thats who i got for this if i had to pick on i would probably say either Ricky or Ronnie have the fastest burst i have seen both bounce off a LB or S and then BOOM its over.

So what do you think?

seconded.... he has shown scary burst speed a couple of times this year. He is running like if he was in his prime. I need to go back and watch some film from the 03 season or something so it can remind me of just how good he used to be.

thirded.... i loved a news article i saw that interviewed Jimmy Rollins about playing minor league baseball with Ricky. Rollins said Ricky was fastest man he ever played with.....pretty impressive for 225 lbs baseball player.
 
Don't forget Jason Allen the guy might be a bone head but he is a burner. Chris Clemons is the other guy not on your list that I think can run with the best of them.

I'm with you though on Vontae Davis as #1 the guy is faster than Lee Majors as The Six Million Dollar Man.

i'll stick with Ted... he may be a long strider but he can still get up to speed quick and deceptively... so it doesn't look like hes flying watching him run but he is...

Ricky on the other hand has those short *** strides so his legs get PUMPING and it makes it seem like hes running real fast... which he is, but still id take Ginn over anyone in a 10 yard split
 
Ricky Williams no doubt for me....Ted never really seemed to have that much explosion to my eyes, hes just more of a burner. Ricky gets from 0 to 60 faster than anyone right now. Vontae isalso impressive
 
ricky, wake & ginn for sure have great burst. haven't seen clemons much to know.
 
I think Ginn has a very slow first step or takeoff, but really fast top end/Afterburners.

Ricky Williams from start to full speed. Overall all out speed is Ginn. That guys got a high gear that is crazy.
 
yeah i looked a video of ricky running in open space his legs look like they are on fast forward just churning like PEOPLE ARE CHASING HIM
 
It was GREAT to see Ginn put on some moves, but he's not one of the top guys when it comes to burst. There's a reason why he is referred to so often as a great second gear guy. Hard to argue with Ricky on this one, he still has it.
 
I'm not sure but Ginn looks like the fastest dude in the NFL. His top-end speed is right up there with world-class track guys IMO.
 
Ginn is one of those guys who doesn't even look like he is running fast, unless you see someone chasing him and losing ground. It makes him look like he isn't even trying sometimes/I think Moss gets that as well.
Ricky has great initianl burst, but has pettered out near the end of his longer runs this year.
