I know that perhaps they haven't updated the roster at miamidolphins.com, but if you check the roster in official site, you'll find that #8 is Brock Berlin's actual jersey.
So i figure that Daunte will deal something with Brock...
Any idea???

I think Brock will go back to number 11 now that Gus is gone....that was his college number.

brock will prolly just give it to him
Or Saban will threaten to cut Brock.

I doubt Berlin gets anything out of the number change. I don't think Minor got anything in return when he was forced to give #34 to Ricky.

That was something i include on the X-files of NFL. Why did NFL officer never allow RW change his number (i can't remember the number he requested)...

it was because of marketing and the money $$$$ that they would lose if he changed numbers.

Brock who? LOL, "8" belongs to Culpepper. :dolphins:

Brock has never been on the active roster and thus has never officially worn #8 for the Dolphins. It's a non-issue.

its daunte culpepper man, if berlin is gonna complain about it culpepper will give him a car that berlin cant pay for the insurance

He wanted to change it to #27. The reason the NFL put their foot down was because he was already being marketed as #34 in Miami. It would have hurt their marketing if he changed his number while he was with the Dolphins. The reason why Culpepper is being allowed to switch from #11 to #8 (Like Moss changed from #84 to #18 with the Raiders), is because they haven't began to market him as a Dolphin. Ricky could have had #27, but he would have had to do it when we originally traded for him in 2002. The NFL didn't like that he used #34 in Miami for a few years then wanted to change. They don't want their Superstars changing numbers. It is ok though if they change teams, because they have to re-market them anyways.

u mean #7? berlin has worn #7 since he was in h.s., he didn't wear it last year b/c feeley had it, so i'd assume that he'll switch to that.

Berlin wore 11 for miami, and Dorsey wore 7
