Who is Brett Brackett?

Last week, the Dolphins picked up Brett Brackett, an Undrafted Free Agent Rookie (UFAR) tight end (TE). On Sunday, Brackett made a splash on the third day of training camp. Andrew Carter, of the Sun Sentinal, chose Brackett as “Who’s up”! Carter wrote … ”For a guy who wasn’t even drafted in April, Brackett stood out especially on Sunday. He had a few nice catches over the middle during team passing drills and separated him from the other tight ends battling for positioning behind Anthony Fasano“.

TE outta my college: PENN STATE! (We Are!). Watched him play from the student section last year, guys got good hands and was a favorite target of Matt McGloin.

Did he play TE in college or was he a WR?

From what I read he was a WR who's put on some wieght to play TE, good pass catcher, good speed, good hands, needs a lot of work as a blocker but is a guy that can threaten the seam.

I believe he was a WR, Lions got some talented WR's who had a ton of speed. He got moved inside.
