Who is next in line for a big payday for the Miami Dolphins?

None of the guys on that list need big money now. Ogbah has had one good season, unless the coaches are sure he is a much better player than he was a year ago when he was signed, I'd let him play out the rest of the year. Baker and Gesicki are decent players, but not special, and definitely don't deserve big money at this point.

Idk about baker. Maybe a 2 year extension nothing more than that
I would agree. He puts forth a ton of effort on the field, and seems like a respectable guy. I just don’t see his fit as an ILB in our scheme. I see him more as a hybrid LB/box safety. I could see a base 4-3 team offering him a decent contract if we don’t extend him however.

Big money comes with big performance. When we start seeing big performance and seeing it consistently we can have this convo. Until then people are at best on average doing their job. I know it's 2021 but just doing your job doesn't get you a huge increase in pay. I know I know, I'm going against the grain here but let's imagine if it were YOUR money. How would you spend it? Sanders outperformed so he. got a big contract. DP already got paid. X already got paid (and I don't give an atomic sized turd if he thinks he wants more).

Handing out money based on one good year (ogbah) or average players (baker) is why Miami has been stuck in mediocre hell.
