They say your only as strong as your weakest link, so who do you think is our weakest player (That you see making the 53 man roster)

I personally cant think of one other than Eddie Moore....but he has some talent and isn't a liability ON the field....he just cant stay on it

Eddie isn't going to make the team. I would have to say Vernon Carey.

I know, but he was the only name I could think of.....

Vernon Carey is a good choice also, hopefully he has improved from last year to this year as much as he did from his rookie year to last year....

I know he's made strides, but I'd have to say Schwetty Butt, on O
and OLB, Spragan or whoever on D

I guess the two biggest question marks, IMO, is the centre spot and the additional LB spot alongside Crowder and Thomas. So the biggest possible liabilities would be the 2 players starting in those spots.

This is a really great question. I think the biggest liabilities in the past have been people we tried to force to be good or stayed with too long just because we overpaid for them or counted on them as the answer (i.e., Feeley, Wade, Reggie Howard). Fortunately, Nick seems to be able to look past that.
So now, I'd agree that Carey and McKinney need to step up this year. On D, I'd say our biggest liability is Father Time, especially on the line. Which then means that Manny Wright, Roth, Vickerson and this year's DL rooks better produce.

i think ur weakest link is still the o-line

There's a lot of new blood in the secondary. Might be a liability for at least the first few weeks.

Weakest Link on this team is CENTER ....

Depth at RB if Ronnie Brown gets injured and again along the offensive line ...

As well as IF Culpepper is unable to go and Harrington gets injured ... QB is a weak link .... hopefully, this scenario is not highly likely !

The Defense contrary to most folks beliefs doesn't really have many weak links ... including starter, depth / injury .... outside of NT - we have folks that can step in and contribute ... as training camp will bear out !!

As NFL fans I'd say Joe Thiesman is our biggest liabilty :) as Dolphin fans it was tackling, that's improved now so I'll say bench depth may be our greatest liability till Saban can over come the 5 years of mediocer drafting Dave gave us.

I'm a massive Culpepper fan and always have been, but right now I've gotta say it's him. We have so much riding on him, if he's not ready to go, or doesn't perform, bye bye playoffs!!
