Was just wondering who is going too be replacing him. Crowder didn't seem up too it so I guess this is a draft prospect. Definitely need too get help in the middle.

sorry to tell you guys..... but no one can replace Zach Thomas.
He was a lot more than just a player. We can find someone to
play his position, but replacing him will likely never happen.

I hope to GOD it isnt Crowder. We are in for a rough rough time stopping the run if he is in the middle

i read on KKFL.com that Torbor will be playing ILB. Not sure if that means he's starting though. If i had to take a stab at it i'd say we have porter and taylor playing OLB and Crowder and Torbor in the middle.

Channing Crowder will probably be the ILB if we play a 4-3 and my guess he'll play the "Will" in the 3-4. I would also think Reggie Torbor will play the "Mike" in the 3-4.

Crowder typically plays the strong side and Porter plays the weak side. As far as last year goes anyways. My guess would be to keep crowder at the inside mike next to Taylor on the outside (Unless he is gone) and Torbor would play the inside will next to Porter on the outside.

WHY????:err:
He is exactly like Zach with more size but the same work ethic. A walk-on that became a starter in 1 year who developed into the ACC's leading tackler as a senior. He is a film nut that don't know the word of quit or take a play off and his heart is bigger than his ego by miles. Exactly like Zach.

http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl If you go to down the page to all sleeper team you will see a little profile on him. The pleasure is watching him play though and I don't think that gives him enough justice. It also has him as a OLB but Butch Davis had him anchring the middle most of last year and he was the signal caller..
