lot of concern about who will fill in for injured players just wondering who is our best linebacker now?

everyone speechless or are we still thinking it over

Dion Jordan...lol

Is this healthy linebacker or any linebacker?

Koa Misi is our best. He's so consistent against the run and he can run with most TEs. However, if we're talking healthy, I'd go with Jenkins. He's awesome in coverage but needs a bit more bulk or tenacity against the run.

I'm gonna go outside the box. Jenkins was a stud Sunday he covered gronk single handedly on several snaps last week. He is our best coverage LB no debate

Best run stopping LB is Misi,
best coverage LB is Jenkins,
best pass rushing LB McCain.
Best LB at doing all three, might be Tripp when he gets healthy. Although Jenkins played better down hill in the run game than I have ever seen him play. He had very good recognition in both the run game and the pass game and was a very solid wrap up tackler. He might be 2nd, with Misi 3rd. Misi is one of the worse LBs on the team at rushing the passer, and is not above average in coverage. Misi's strength is his strength. He is good at sitting the edge and is strong at the POA. I think people around here overrate Misi, only because he was the best of a very bad LB core last year. The best pile of crap is still a pile of crap. If Misi is out for any length of time I can see a situation where he might not even be starting by the end of the year if some of these young guns come of age. He will get playing time if healthy but he is not a great LB. I would probably rate Misi as the 15th best MLB in a 4-3.

Absolutely untrue. He can't run with any of the new hybrid NFL TEs. Sims would be about the only TE we have that he could cover. If he played on another team and I could get him matched up vs Clay or even Hoskins that would be my #1 target all day. He has very tight hips and below average change of direction. Even if he were trying to cover Sims I would still consider that a good match up for the offense. He is decent enough in zone to understand concepts because he is smart enough to make it work but he does not have the skill set to ever be good at man coverage vs TEs or RBs. That just isn't who he is.

Well.....

If we are counting out Misi and Wheeler for the moment as both are injured (Ellerbe on IR), probably go with Trusnick.

Nothing special but is consistent and a great ST player.

Potential? I guess Dion Jordan but technically not a LB.

Next, I guess Jenkins? McCain/Tripp?

Kelvin Shepperd, I guess we can go off his previous years tape, solid LB. Again nothing special.

i hope these lb's will be good enough to stop the run against the bills.they have to be game planning around the fact we have all second string lb out there.this scares me
add to it that they have a mobile qb as well
