Gaskin WISHES he had the vision and moves ahmed has. They look nothing alike. We should see ahmed in the lead role after his performance in short playing time against arizona. He averaged a TRUE 5 yds per carry making most of it happen himself. Very consistant, great moves and patience.

YEP!! Thats what i saw also. Refreshing change from gaskin who isnt patient and runs up into the line like a blind man and gets swallowed up. He couldnt recognize a cutback if he had a map and a satellite image. Gaskin isnt the answer no matter what happens with ahmed.

With a free agent back, you either get another teams "not good enough", or you overpay and hope the guy doesn't have a substantial drop off, or both.

FA backs are fine for low price back end of the roster, but drafting one is the best way, IMO.

I also don't believe in spending a top pick though, so I don't have a great answer, other than our scouting department needs to find a diamond in rd2.
