We need an explossive kickoff n punt returner who can win us a few games like Devin Hester is doing for the bears with his returner skills.

Who is that guy?

I wanted us to draft Hester:(

were not in a position to be able to give up a second rd pick for a punt returner. Bears were able to do it because they are a very solid football team. We are not in that type of position to give away that high of a pick on a guy that only plays special teams.

Ginn Jr., we need this guy he is my favorite player heading into the draft and we currently lack that one offensive weapon that is completely explosive and not to mention how he would be a great returner

Ginn isnt nearly the punt returner that Hester was in college. He had an amazing season last year. Ginn would be a fantastic utility player for Miami to pick up, but absolutely not at the cost of our first round pick

The best punt/kick returner this year is DeSean Jackson, but he cant go pro yet.

You could make the case that if he declares selecting Ted Ginn, Jr @#9 overall is 3 players in 1. WR, PR, KR.

Depending on what we do with CC or Wes it could be justified.

Agreed. While I'd really, really, REALLY like to see us trade up to draft Joe Thomas, picking up Ginn and trading Welker wouldn't exactly be bad either... just as long as we move Chambers to the slot instead of Ginn.

Who are you going to trade Wes Welker to? He's a free agent this year... and youd get absolutely nothing.

This isnt a game of Madden, man.

Simple. Put the right RFA tender on him, and ask teams if they're interested. I'd try to include Welker in a deal to trade up in the draft. Teams that need viable secondary receiving options, or utility players, would love to have him. I can see Cleveland and Washington being interested.

I'm well aware that this isn't Madden. I'm not saying this WILL happen. I'm saying I would LIKE it to happen, as one of many potential draft scenarios. Would you care to explain why such a deal is not probable, instead of whipping out the overused "this isn't Madden" brush-off?

I think if were going to do this we must scout exceptionaly well, and see if we can find a solid KR/PR guy in the form of a CB or WR who can also play his position as well. I think our best bet would probly be Chris Davis WR FSU.

Wes isn't going anywhere. He will be re-signed as a member of the Miami Dolphins.

Further, I'll go out on a limb and predict he will RETIRE a Miami Dolphin, a la Crash Jensen.

Bank on it. :D
