Who is/was the best #55

This is an update of last weeks poll just as promised. Last week I had a polll asking who was the better #55 for the Dolphins, Junior Seau or Joey Porter. Some of you suggested I do another poll with Jason Taylor and Zach Attack in there so here it is. Which Dolphins defensive player is the best to wear #55, as I said last week, we are talking right this minute. No projecting Joey Porter's stats over the rest of the season or years to come.

well since ZT will always be #54 to me and JT will always be #99, I guess i'll go with JP.

since seau only had 1 fair so-so injury free year in miami I'd have to go with Porter

Yeah but I wanted to limit this to a few marquee players that everyone would know and be able to vote on. Otherwise this would quickly become a reserch project looking up every single #55 to wear the aqua and orange.

On that list, unpopular as the selection may be, it's Jason Taylor.

A bust? I'm assuming you mean after coming to Miami. Either way, I don't agree with you. Sure he didn't play like his early days in San Diego but when healthy, Seau was effective against the run and brought great leadership and intensity. He had a solid season just last year in N.E. as well.
With that said, i've been a huge Porter fan since his early days in Pittsburgh. He's already had more of an impact in Miami than Seau did so i'm going with him.

Seeing as though only two wore it here and only one has done much with it on I will go with Porter.

I haven't seen much of Zach in Dallas or JT in Washington. I thought JT was missing games with injuries. I would go with Porter. They spent too much to get him here and I know he gets people bent out of shape with some of his comments but I'm glad he is on the team:)
