He is the worst starting safety in the league. Horrible size, instincts, ball skills and tackling. WTF is he doing still starting for this team? Someone argue that he doesn't suck ass, please
 
I'm hoping that it is true he has good communication skills and shows some leadership ability.
Playing wise yea not a big fan from what I have seen.
So I'm looking more off the field than on the field.

But a bit like Fitz/Tua hoping Fitz can show him the ropes and ease his introduction into the game so he will go on to have a great career.
McCain/Jones may be there is hope can can mentor Jones as a safety regards learning the position/communication/leadership/recognising offensive formations.
Jones comes over like Tua as a person who is keen to learn and better himself. Example - because of injury prior to the draft broke down many NFL's teams offences/defences and plays to show his intelligence.
He had a solid first game so over time hoping he will step up and be a starting safety and go onto have a long career with the Fins.

Most of us know this, the real question is wtf is Flores thinking playing McCain at free safety. It’s a red flag for me. Your telling me there’s no players who played free safety in college available? Who was our starting free safety last year when we won 5 games?

I think Adrian Colbert who was invisible and we cut him in camp.
 
He gets hoes for the other players and possibly coaches.

They took down the video where he referenced being careful what you bring back to the team from the club.

Incredible.
 
I think McCain gets blamed for a lot of plays that are not his fault. If you have no pass rush and CBs are blowing coverages it will be a rough day to play safety. To clarify, I am not claiming he is good. I just think the blame needs to be equally spread across all of our DBs right now.
 
He is always out position on and does not have the speed to recover. If you do not have the speed to play safety, you surely dont have the speed to cover the slot as a nickel corner. The guy is our biggest liability on defense.

Obviously, Flo. The only vote that counts. To his defense, he's a better safety than any OLman on the team
 
Let’s Be honest. Even as a slot CB, McCain is average a best. Him, and X have shown nothing since they got paid. X has one Int since he put pen to paper lol
