Does anyone know if it is Saban making the defensive calls, or is Richard Smith sending in the signals? I ask because I thought the gameplan against the Raiders was much better than it has been in the past couple of weeks. I noticed against Atlanta and New England that we were giving up big yardage on ill-timed blitzes.

Smith sends in the play calls. Saban and what's his name have a lot of influence during the week though on the game planning,

I don't know if the game plan was the deciding factor or the execution. All players seems to have the sense to do all the small things.. especially tackling.

The few Dolphins games that I've seen this season, i don't think so much it's the play calling rather than the execution of the plays that are called. Remember, Miami won against Denver and Carolina...two powerhouses, and their win against the Raiders, who I think is a much better team than their record indicates, prove to me it's more about execution rather than the plays called themselves.

the one thing i saw against the raiders is that jason taylor was in the de spot then swithed to the 3-4 olb. also mad the tackle in the same play.
