Hello,

After 1 week in FA that seems obvious Gase seek players with great football IQ and good locker room relationship with teammates.

So in your opinion who could match with that for our position of needs in FA and in the draft.

In my opinion :

QB : Mayfiels is his favorite but if he's not available, I can see Rudolph or Pat White (but I dont know who has the best IQ of them)
RB : I can see a Guise or a Sony Michel draft here but in the FA pool I would sign a 1 year contract with Gore to lead our young RB in the right direction
TE : Mark Andrews is the target IMO and why not a 1 year with Antonio Gates or Marcellus Bennett if the contract is cheap
DT : Does William Hayes can play DT ? if yes I think we are set at this position
LB : Darius Leonard could be a sleeper here if we go QB or Nelson or James in the first, another guy I really like for the later round is Garrett Dooley

I hope we sign a TE or a DT before the draft, like that we could go on the pick we want and not the pick we needs.

Opinions ?

PLEASE PLEASE NO.....to Pat White. LOL

Baker is gone and Roquon Smith (WLB) fits the psych profile (leader) but Edmunds fits in an open spot (3 down SLB).

As long as none of the cards we run up there in any round say lamar jackson on them, I will be fine.

I am not 100% sold on Mayfield as a culture fit either. I think we have a player we are hoping falls to us. I think that player played for a coach we all hate. 2 possibilities.

I’m so ready for a Pat White comeback. But do we have to draft him a second time?

Hey whatever. Carroo cost us two picks so why the hell not?

Trade back get your DT, LB later in the 1st round backup QB in the 2nd along with a TE and hit the DT or LB in the 3rd. RB, FS in the 4th, then in the 6th/7th kicker and OL.

I think White could be on the board in the 5th round. Would have been a decent developmental qb if you have veteran starter and back up.
That would be great to get him on day 3. I've seen him mocked all over the place from 2nd to 4th

Yes I mean Mike White ;)

I your opinion who is the best fit with Gase philosophy : Mike White, Luke Falk, Mason Rudolph or Kyle Lauletta ?

hey I was alright with the Gore signing (see my first post in this topic) :happy:happy:happy:happy

Don't think we are in the greatest position for offers on a trade back. I get the positives of the 11 spot being outside top 10 but i think most of the qbs getting attention will be gone so i don't see the offers coming in. If James or edmunds or Smith is there we sure as h better not trade out.

Easy solution here
Sign Hankins and draft BPA at 11 then take. Qb in 2nd if one is there w3 like or another OL or LB then a qb or rb in 3rd

Yup, no reason in the world to trade back with the talent at 11 this year. We are going to get a heck of a football player.
