I have a feeling we will be moving back into the 2nd round and not picking at 32. There is always first round talent that falls into the second round, and a team wants to pick that player up. I believe the Dolphins are flexible enough to move back and still get their man. Unless there is a star sitting there, we have so many needs to fill it works to our advantage.

WOW if it was up to some of you GMs we would be trading ourselves out of every single round in the DRAFT!

Sure you go ahead and draft the next pro bowl stud we wil move back and draft some stiff like Reagan Mauia

If we take Jake at 1, then we can afford to move back at #32. But if we take anyone else we cant because we would have to take an the highest rated OT there.

Unless the Dolphins get a steal of a deal...they will stay at 32. At 32 you can still get a very decent starter...or a QB for the future. I see the Dolphins trading back from the second day first pick...when teams will be alot more eager to trade...and for them to jump up.

I prefer they stay at 32.. a defacto 1st round pick...that being said, if we can pull a deal like the way MN bamboozled Spielstedt over Carey, dropping down at most 1 or 2 slots is probably not gonna hurt.

If we rip another team off I would be happy. Other then a totally lopsided trade I would like to stay at 33. How many times do teams get the 32nd pick and get to pay him bonafide second round pay? I don't think it has ever happened.

haha no he is not

we should take groves if there, if not i am not against trading down a few spots to take brandon flowers or cason if there. mabey pick up a 3rd as well. we can get all our positions of need out of the way so that in the 6th we can take the only qb worth taking josh johnson. he will be a solid backup for years to come which is all we will need once beck shows what he can do behind a stellar line.

We trade the pick along with a 3rd rounder to Cleveland for....

:d-day:

No thanks.

Take Kenny Phillips, Quinton Grooves, or a different OLB or CB. Don't trade away picks. Especially two quality picks for a QB that who knows will be better than John Beck.

Is it asking to much to expect starters from each of our first four picks? Especially where we pick so early in each round, I would think we could easily find starters for LT, CB, TE, WR or even LG.

Just a theory not an endorsement, I think it could be Chad Henne. If I'm right, I think they view him as potential value. Like Jake Long, he has a solid resume as a 4 year starter at Michigan. He's tough, physical and has a decent arm. He won't be under pressure to play as a rookie and he can still go out and compete hard against Beck/McCown. Clearly an investment pick. I don't think he makes it to 2B (#57).

Yes, Jason Allen was picked #16 and he didn't start his rookie season. Even how good Matt Roth and Channing Crowder were they didn't start. It's asking too much for them to start, but they'll get reps by rotating in.
