The good news: The Dolphins don’t need a starting quarterback for the 2015 season.
The bad news: They’re probably going to lose their reliable backup.
With a lack of quality quarterbacks in the NFL, Dolphins second-stringer Matt Moore is a hot commodity.
While he’s still no lock to start next year, it seems likely that he will sign with a team that has a shaky quarterback situation and will give him the opportunity to compete for the job. He’s probably not starting in Miami unless Ryan Tannehill is injured.

Mark Sanchez, Michael Vick, Brian Hoyer, Jake Locker, Ryan Mallet, Colt McCoy, Matt Hasselbeck, Tarvaris Jackson and Jason Campbell, Matt Flynn, Dan Orlovsky, Jimmy Clausen, Shaun Hill, Christian Ponder, ???

is Hoyer going to leave Cleveland due to Manziel being there? Hoyer I can see starting there again, but I not sure if he wants to be around if Manziel there.

Jake Locker, Jason Campbell, Shaun Hill would be three I wouldnt mind as backups.

Hasselbeck, Flynn, Sanchez how expensive would they get???

Vick, Jackson, Orlovsky, Clausen, Ponder I have as no

Honestly...

Some rookie drafted in the 5th

I'd bring back Devlin honestly... If something happens to Tannehill I don't need some vet saving Philbin's ass

That is why I suggested a late round pick...

He goes down....just lay down for the rest of the season and try to get the highest pick possible.

Joe cannot afford to toss a season away with a scrub back up. He needs someone that can keep the team afloat.

oh we will lay down if that happens...you can guarantee that...if it happens early enough we wont make it to december playing for anything but a draft pick...and if it happens early enough the replacement will be dead too within 6 weeks...so be 3rd string guy playing bumper cars

Of those guys I would say either Locker or Hill. I'd take a QB in the mid rounds of the draft to groom, Petty, Mannion, or maybe Taylor Kelly? I know there are Rakeem Cato fans here, and he might be an option as well.

I don't think we can waste picks on a project QB in this draft. Groom an undrafted guy... Sign a scrub vet to be backup

scrub vet still has a vet minimum you must meet...i say udfa rookie or late day 3 pick $375k

I was hoping for Conner Shaw last year. Not sure who I like this year.
