Who should orchestrate the wildcat now?

As much as it pains me to say this, but with Ronnie Brown out, who should run the wildcat full time, White or Ricky? I'm sure there will be times we switch it up, but I'm talking about majority of the time.

A. Ricky
B. White
C. Other - I dunno who this could be
D. Get rid of it without Ronnie

Ricky will run it. White runs the pistol not the WildCat so it will ricky

do you guys think white could run it? i think so he would give us more speed minus power..not saying he would be better than ronnie in any aspect just wondering if he could run it effectivly

If rucky runs it, as i bet he will, who goes out wide and in motion? Hillard? I dont remember him really having the speed to be successful in that spot but maybe im mistaken.

In a perfect world, his increased speed PLUS throwing accuracy would give him the edge in the wildcat over Ronnie. But from what we have seen so far from White throwing, it hasn't looked too good. Hopefully in the next few games we will see something encouraging from Pat White in the passing game.

You can do better for "C" than other. :)

What makes more sense to me since 80% of the time Ronnie keeps it....

Bring PW in motion from the opposite side Ricky usually comes from....puts him running behind Long and Haynos and he's already rolling left so the pass is a viable option.

I want Ted Ginn Jr to be the wildcat, but he is too big of a vag. If he uses that speed when he is the wildcat, man that would be deadly.

Realistically, I can see Davone Bess becoming the Wildcat. He is able to choose lanes and pick his holes effectively. They had Bess in the backfield on a couple of plays this preseason. It will essentially be turning into a WR screen with pulling guards.

We should just run the PistCat, which could also be saying a more aggressive version of the Wildcat haha. Ok, i'm copyrighting that.

I love Ricky, but from what i've seen he's terrible at taking the snap. He always catches it with his body thus taking him an extra second to adjust the ball thus giving the defense extra time to react.

Also, who's going in motion, Hilliard? Ginn? I mean really. We don't even have Cobbs.

I voted get rid of it until Ronnie gets back. I just don't see it being effective without Ronnie or Cobbs. Rather see the conventional offense for awhile, which might even give Henne more opportunity to shine. Pound the ball with Ricky and Polite.

I won't even mention White, because i'm just not a fan of him ever being on the field.

No one. We should run standard formations and pound the **** out of everyones defense with Ricky.

Am I the only person who seems to realize that the whole point of the ****ing wildcat in the first place was to utilize our best two(and really our only 2 good) offensive players on the field at the same time?????????

With either Ronnie or Ricky injured, IMHO the wildcat is ****ing pointless. I say we just scrap it for now. We may not resign Ronnie anyway, so we may have seen the last of it for the most part.

As for this week, Ricky COULD take snaps out of the wildcat, but wtf would be the point? Lex Hilliard or that bum that hasnt proven anything that people on here somehow believe is going to breakout on Thursday(sheetz?) is not going to threaten anyone. So there is no sense in running the wildcat when the guy taking the snap(in this case Ricky) is the only player on the field who threatens the defense.

Get real people. We probably wont see the wildcat this week. If we do it probably wont be more than 1 or 2 plays and it will probably be to set up some kind of trick play. Unfortunately, we might have to look at that stupid pistol formation with more of that bust Pat White this week.

I would like to see Tyler Thigpen run the Wildcat. He would definately open up the passing side of the formations. PW can still come in for his usual couple of plays.
