Hi guys, I was wondering which of our free agents should we resign.

I think we should resign Shulters, Mckinney, and Rosenfels.

I think Shulters did a great job at the safety position and I think we should bring him back for at least one more year.

I know alot of you want to get rid of Mckinney, but he actually had a very solid season and I think his future is far brighter than his past.

And I would also bring back Rosenfels. I would rather have Sage than Gus. Sage played outstanding in the Bills game, and he saved Gus's behind in the Jets game. A good back-up should be worth a lot to this team.

With that said I would say that i would let just about all our other FA's go.

Two people for me....:D

Lance Shulters on a two year deal...
Sage Rosenfels on one year deal...

But then we need to go out and get someone to play either guard or center if we don't bring back Seth. Which means we'll probably have to get a guard/center and a LT. That's a little too much change in one year for me.

With Mcintosh's legal problems, I think LT is our biggest concern along the line.

It would not make sense to resign Rosenfels because we would have 4 Qbs after we draft one.

I would like to keep Sammy Morris for special teams and occasional carries/action at fullback & tailback. He might not have the most talent, but I don't care what anyone says - he plays 100% every play.

Good riddance to Minor and McKinney.

So dump either Gus or Lemon. Sage IMO is our best qb, but I guess that isn't saying much.

I completely agree about Sammy. I didn't know he was a FA, we should definitely bring him back, especially if we loose ricky.

Schulters

I agree with that.

I'd like to sign Sammy Morris, but unless we get rid of Ricky that's probabaly not an option. Morris deserves more playing time then he would get here.

And we got shut out against Cleveland with Sage behind center.............No thanks see ya later Sage.

Bell is a given - he is going nowhere. I like Morris alot. Other than that nobody is irreplaceable.

IMO - Sage is gone, Schulters made some good plays BUT he also gave up some big plays. I wouldn't pay him big $$ - I think he can be upgraded but for a bargain I"d keep him. Madison and Howard will be gone so all other DB's will be given a shot. I could see this team with possibly 2 new starting DB's and at least 1 new starting safety next year. I like Daniels and think he will start but if you could play him as a #3 that would be nice! Something on the Oline has to give - I think RG will be upgraded - Hadnot will stay at center. Bentley I believe will be too expensive so we will get a mid level guy - maybe a surprise cut. McIntosh is serviceable at LT until we can groom Alabi or someone new. I think he stays. I think the top FA pickup will be Peterson for OLB. Just have a hunch Saban will convince him to come play for him at a decent price. Can U imagine Crowder, Peterson, and Zach at LB. I also think Traylor will be back - he is the biggest bargain on the team - literally as well. I wouldn't be surprised to see at least half the draft be secondary guys.

I say keep Schulters, and Sammy for sure..
I would like to keep Sage, but I think the Fins should let him go if they are not going to give him a chance. If he is demoted to 3rd string then wave him for sure..

The Dolphins reportedly have little interest in McKinney. Apparently they feel Hadnot will be able to play the position at a higher level. I don't think we'll have a big problem putting someone at RG.

The other knock against signing McKinney would probably be money. I have a feeling he'll want more than the Dolphins are willing to pay or think he's worth.
