sage as a backup and morris gilmore and thomas for special teams.

I would resign D. Jones, Shulters, Mitchell, Denney, Gilmore, and Bell.

#1- Donnie Jones- great punter, pro bowl in a few years.

#2- Shulters- great player.

#3- Denney- two mistakes this year, keep him for the minimum.

#4- ST guys Morris, K. Thomas, Minor, Gilmore, Bell. ST's was good this year these guys back, @ min. keeps us good.

#5- Sage, #3 next year behind Cutler and Gus.

why resign Sage as the #3 when we can just keep Cleo, the guy we gave a pick up for as the #3?

Sage has been excellent coming in as relief for Gus, Lemon has yet to prove he can do anything. heck, Sage has a better QB rating than Gus and that includes an abysmal outing against Cleveland, if anything I put Sage as our vet QB, Cutler as 2nd, and Lemon as 3rd.

ok. still dont resign him to be a #3 QB. i doubt he would take that anyways.

Sage Rosenfels- Maybe. He seems to have done a good job as a backup. He's mobile and has a good arm, so he fits the system ok.

Sammy Morris- I'd love to resign him. He's a good ST player, runner, reciever, and blocker. But I cant imagine he stays, as he's not going to get a whole hell of alot of play time if we keep Ricky.

Travis Minor- Decent ST player and RB. I think he'll probabaly move on where he can be a 3rd down back somewhere, though. Kay Jay Harris is still on the practice squad for a reason.

David Boston- He's done.

Brian Gilmore- Not sure.

Seth McKinney- I think he's gone. I'd rather have Hadnot at Center, and he isnt that great.

Stockar McDougle- Played pretty poorly. We'll probabaly grab a younger player.

Alozno Ephriam- Dunno. He is penalized alot, it seems.

Kilwalkee Thomas- Probabaly gone.

Shirdonya Mitchell- He'll be around. A project type player.

Yeremiah Bell- I cant imagine we dont want to resign him. Saban is doing everything he can to get him on the field. He's playing extensively at safety, cornerback, and some sort of weird hybrid linebacker position in our nickel and dime packages.

Lance Schulters- Solid, but unspectacular. He's made some bad mistakes.

????? Lejune- Dunno.

Donnie Jones- We'll keep him. He has done a good job.

John Denney- We'll keep him. He's fudged two snaps this season, but he is almost always the first or second guy to the ball, which is great for a longsnapper.
