Just wondering how many of you guys will think we'll pick up a QB in the draft..any round at all.

I think so. Either a replacement for Joey or someone to have in training camp to take a look at, to see if Joey is replaceable.

I think it depends on if Cam thinks he can work with and develop Lemon, Harrington, or what he thinks of Dante. I would say that he probably doesn't think as much as we do about Lemon because he was the OC at SD when Lemon was traded to us for someone I won't mention. If was/is so high on Lemon, wouldn't you think that he would have protested that move? Who knows, it all depends on his evaluation of the current QB's. I would hope that he takes a shot at someone like Kolb in the 4th round or something of that nature, someone who he truly believes he can develop.

Hopefully we take Drew Stanton or Kevin Kolb with the extra picks we get by trading out of the #9 pick.

i think if we trade out of #9 it is a possibility, but I think a lot will depend on what Cam sees in each of the QB's still on the team. My guess is we dont draft a QB this year and give DC one more chance, with Lemon being the backup

If they are smart they will. There is too much uncertainty with this current group. Daunte Culpepper is still a BIG ?, Joey is well still Joey, and Cleo is a backup at best.

I don't believe the Dolphins will draft a QB because we have to many more urgent needs than QB. If Daunte comes back healthy, he will be given a year or 2 to become comfortable with this system. In the meantime, Cleo will be groomed in the system in case Daunte doesn't perform well. IMO the Dolphins have too much money invested in Daunte not to give me a chances to prove himself as well as he gives the older players there best chances to win now.

If things don't go well for Daunte this coming season, I feel the Dolphins will draft a QB in 2008 in the mid rounds because after next season the age of the defense will seriously need to be addressed. This year I think the Dolphins will focus on (as Coach Cam stated) the middle of the oline and out left to right.

I think the Dolphins will work hard to give the current older players 1 maybe 2 years at the most to win now. After that, I think will will see some of our beloved vets released or traded for youth which will begin a new era of Dolphin players. It will be tough to experience but it is something that must happen.

It would be a wasted pick, we have too many holes in other places.Next year will be a better QB draft year.

yes because they would draft a qb the qb is the most important position it is all about the QB .they would draft a qb hopfully in the second and devolp him

If Brady Quinn drops into our laps, I will throw my TV through a window if we don't take him.

I do. For one, I don't think they're sold on Duante coming back to form. Secondly, If there's a guy in the later rounds they really like and think they can develop in the next few years, I don't see us passing that up.

Yes, there are holes to fill. But you can't force the issue. Unless they find prospects that they feel really good about that fill those holes when we draft, they're probably better off going by BPA, especially later on in the draft.

I do not think the question is "Will we draft a QB?" as much as What round will we draft a QB?

I believe that in either the 1st or 2nd Round , we will have a new young QB (1. Depending on who is still out there, 2. how high have the top 4 qbs risen, and 3. is there another QB out there that could be as good as the top 4 if groomed and taught right).
