Unfortunately, one of them has to win this game (unless they tie) Last time that happened was in '02 with the Falcons and Steelers at 34 a piece. I don't think that will happen. I'm rooting for the jest. Although, I think the Bills are still the most overrated team in the NFL (I've said that since week 3) I think the Jest will clearly be the worst team (in the AFC East) come this December.

Has to be the Jets. We are only one game back from them, and we play them again, so thats in our own hands. Buffalo is up on us by two games, so we need atleast one other loss for them, then we can play them again and overtake them......

I just know someone will say how come you didn't put "none" I will not root for our AFC counterparts but come on it's a legit question. In a perfect world, I wouldn't root for any of them but this is real life. Someone will win this game.

At first i thought Bills because we beat them, but I hate the Jets but that seems to be the team we have to root for. Our whole season would be so much different if we beat them week 1.

It's not a good idea to root for any team unless it's late in the season and the situation is clear that you need a certain team to win. It's all about the Miami Dolphins. Someone will win and someone will lose, just watch the game and then make fun of whoever loses.

That's true but I honestly think that we have to win our division to get to the play-offs. Wildcard will go to the Colts or Titans that is clear as day. The other Wildcard spot is in competition with the Jags, Ravens, Browns, Texans, Chargers and of course anyone of our division rivals.

AFC East is definitely one of the hardest to division to compete in.

I hate this, but Jets. Wont be watching it though or in anyway cheer for them. I just would 'like' them to win because Miami need them to. :)

LOL "make fun of whoever loses." haha that's funny. What you said couldn't be further from the truth but I need someone to root for. We have a 4 o' clock game so this will be a nice prelude to the fins game.

We should all take a little something form the other football team in Miami, the Hurricanes. It's all about the 'U". It's not even worth it to get worked up and root for someone other than the Dolphins. We are at a time of the year where it is not clear which would be more beneficial for us to lose (proof is in the fact that you made this thread). Just watch the game, enjoy hopefully some good football, and then when it's over we will know how things stand after eight games.

I actually think we have to root for the BILLS...

If you think about it, it is almost safe to say Buffalo or NE will win the division, so if the Jets are sent on a losing streak (and we beat them next time we play them) at least we will be above them in the wildcard standing if we have the better record....

We are 2 games behind the division leaders, with head-to-head wins over both of them. Its a little too early to say who will win the division. NY was 5-4 before the went on a streak and made the playoffs. Not saying we will do that, but just shows how much things can change over the 2nd half of the season......

To add another argument for the Bills....

We can still earn a head-to-head sweep of the Bills. That would help us in a tiebreaker, thus meaning we may just have to match the Bills final record.

We can NOT earn a head-to-head sweep against the Jets, in fact, they can earn one on us. This would be a detriment to tiebreakers with them, meaning we would probably have to finish with a better record than them.

I'm just saying man. The Jets had to comeback to win against the Chiefs (THE CHEIFS! I had to say it again to really let it sink in) and they lost to Oakland. The Jets suck even more then the pathetic Bills. I'm not exactly "rooting" it's more like that guy said up there about "liking a team to win".
