Who to root for the rest of the way! (Dolphins path to the playoffs)

The hope is the Dolphins can go 10-6 and with a little bit of help can go to the playoffs with serious momentum. If we we're to finish 9-7 we have a decent shot, but would need a good amount of help and 8-8 we don't deserve to go the playoffs. Here We Go:

Week 15:
Go Chargers over the Broncos. We are huge Charger fans the rest of the way. The most games they can win is 9 and if we end up with 9 we own the tiebreaker and if the Ravens end up 9-7 too we would get in as long as the ravens one loss was to the Pats or Bengals.

Colts over Texans. I will explain why this game will matter later.

Of Course like always, Go Dolphins!!

We are cheering for the Raiders over the Chiefs, though I'm not holding my breath.

Panthers over Jets, If the Jets lose they are basically eliminated.

Arizona over the Titans: A loss and the Titans are eliminated.

Steelers over the Bengals. If the Steelers win Sunday Night and we beat the Patsies then we control our destiny. Plus if we need the Bengals to beat the Ravens on the Final week, we need them to be playing for something.

Of Couse Nursing Home Calvin and the Lions over the Ravens.

Week 16:

Dolphins over Bills, Obviously.

Vikings over Bengals, Doubt it though.

Colts over Chiefs, this game is huge for 3 different reasons
1. If the colts beat the Chiefs and The Broncos beat the Texans (Hopefully after they lose to the Chargers) then Chiefs will automatically have #5 seed, and can't get to #2 or #1 which means that hopefully they will rest there players on week 17 versus the Chargers who we want to twin out.

2. If Bengals lose to Steelers and colts win both games then Bengals will be fighting for #3 spot.

3. Colts would have good chance of getting #3 spot and I like the Dolphins over the colts

Browns over Jets: Hopefully that game doesn't matter

Broncos over Texans: For the reasons above and hopefully it will make the Pats want to beat the Ravens, because of #1 seeding purposes.

Packers over Steelers, Hopefully it won't matter

Chargers over the Raiders: huge game go Chargers baby!

Pats over Steelers: As much as I hate the Pats, and I mean I can't express the hatred, I would be kicked off the site, We need the Pats to beat the Ravens bad in this. A pats win over the Ravens and I feel pretty confident of the Dolphins chances.

Week 17:

Last regular season game of the year, hopefully not the last for the Phins. Obviously go Phins crush the Jest.

Bengals over Ravens; At least as of right now that's my stance.

Colts over Jags: For seeding, would rather face colts over Bengals.

Chargers Over the Chiefs. If both the Ravens and Phins end up at 9-7, this Chargers win could put us in. GO CHARGERS!

There's other games, but if everything works out then they won't really matter too much.

Then Dolphins make a magical run in the playoffs and we win the Superbowl and life is complete.

honestly, i can care less about the chargers or any other team.

i believe the chances r very slim that if we win out, we wont make playoffs.

obviously if we lose sunday, it just makes the ravens game monday night basically an elimination game for us, because us being 1 game back overall which is really 2 because they have tiebreaker, with 2 games left is not easy to overcome,

just win out and we will be in. dolphins can only control what they do, and they had there chances to beat baltimore earlier this year but failed. now we can only control our games.
 
I think that if we win out we will make the playoffs. If we finish 9-7 our chances are slim but still alive. Honestly it wouldn't shock me if the Ravens lost out, and it wouldn't surprise me if they won out either. That team is just impossible to predict.
 
Its simple. Just root for the Dolphins. If we win out, its very difficult for us not to get in.

Really, just root for us to win this week. After this weeks results, it will be quite clear on what would need to happen in the remaining two games. A lot can still happen, and this weeks results will have a huge effect and the picture will be much simpler. Just root for the Phins. If we lose on Sunday, it will be very important that the Lions win on Monday night. Also if we lose Sunday, all of the other results aside from the Lions winning will be moot. So just root for us to win.

You realize that if the Fins lose Sunday and the Ravens win on Monday, we are only one game back? The Ravens play the Pats and Bengals (highly possible to lose those two) and we play the Bills and Jets (highly possible to win those two); they lose two, we win two, we are in. Nothing that happens this weekend can eliminate us from the playoffs.
 
this is a 2 team race...us and baltimore...no one else is catching us...if we finish at 9-7 and they drop 2 games be ready to play some free football...
 
It sucks that Minny blew that game against balt. The ravens losing that game would of given us a bit of a cushion if we lose one.
 
If SD seals the deal versus Denver, I think they have a solid chance of finishing 9-7. If the Ravens lose one game in the AFC, and we win two of three, we are in if all of us finish 9-7.

If SD wins their next two, including tonight, that would give us a chance to get a playoff spot in week 17 regardless of if we drop one of the next two. Really, really need this to happen to ensure a meaningful week 17.
 
Listen, if we cant beat the Bills and the Jests we dont deserve to get in. If we beat the Bills and the Jests, we are very likely to get in.

Aside from that fact, personally Im ****ing sick of losing to the Bills and Jests. We need to start beating them regularly.
 
I disagree with you about " 8-8 we don't deserve to go the playoffs." If we go 8-8 and are the 6th seed then yes we deserved it over everyone else. I don't care if we go 5-11 and make the playoffs with the 6th seed. Lol imagine a season like that where the 6th seed is a 6-10 team or something so crazy.
