Who wants to bet a wide reciever reverse will be one of our first plays this weekend?

Let's kill two trick plays with one stone-

Reverse to Booker, then satisfying Mularkeys obsession with someone other than the QB throwing, Booker throws it. Get it over with on the first play. Hopefully Marty doesn't slip when he's throwing it because he actually has a good arm.

get RB Darren McFadden to throw it like he did against TN. Oh wait. we don't draft him until next year.

The play is called in the beginning of the game to have a lingering affect on the defense the rest of the game,,whether it works or not it is called to keep the defense thinking peripherally, this softens up the middle of the field so the power running game can become more effective.

Mularkey's philosophies are instilled in the beginning of the year and in the beginning of games to have a more profound effect later in the year and later in the games.

Now that being said, there are some flaws in his rythym,i think there could of been better times in the games to call them,,i think the ronnie brown option at the goal line was ridiculous, ronnie has shown that he's uncomfortable with the rock in his hands like that..

Ithink our biggest weakness right now is the quarterback position, joey is not playing well,i want him to play well but he is not,the second half against the chiefs was abysmal,he was choking before our eyes and i believe lost his confidence in that game,,here's to hoping he gets better,,he's gotta be due for a good game,,,,right??

The reverse should go to wes welker, he is the only wide receiver we have (hagan is unknown) that can avoid a tackle. Chambers and booker get tackled when the wind blows.

What are you talking about? Chambers has done amazingly well on reverses throughout his career.

Chambers may have made some plays on reverses because the defense was totally faked out not becuase he made people miss. I simply don't see much YAC with chambers at all, sorry.

It seems to be commonplace now...for a 1-2 yard gain

Wow, if we're that predictable, I sure hope the Vikings are dumb.

Why not get fancy and kill 3 or 4 birds off one stone...here's my suggestion to Mularkey and his usual plays.....

Reverse play handoff to Ronnie Brown, who then gives it to Chambers who then throws it to the opposite side of the field to Booker who then hands it off back to Ronnie, who then pitches it back to Harrington (ala flea-flicker) who then throws it to a wide open Wes Welker for a quick 5 yard pass before he gets tackled.

I'll bet you Mike Mularkey's job that the Dolphins will not call a WR reverse in their first series.
