From the head coach’s perspective, what Philbin was most pleased to see was the efficient way the practice unfolded.

“We kind of put a lot on the table, we had a lot of reps planned for practice,” Philbin said. “We virtually hit our targets at each period and we were kind of pushing the envelope there a little bit because we’re under a real time crush; we can’t extend periods, we can’t stay out here as long as we want. What I was pleased with most of all, aside from a particular individual, was the way the guys moved around, the energy and the effort.”

Who do you think Joe was referring to? No one comes directly to mind for me...

Pretty sure that he means he isn't referring to how any one individual performed, but he was impressed with how the group hustled to get through their assignments. That's how it came across to me when I watched the interview.

Ah ok thank you - it must watch differently than it reads - i read it as he was singling one person out that did not put forth effort like the others.

Coyle.

lol

Even Dallas Thomas moved around with energy and effort, it just happened to be the energy and effort provided by the opposing player.

Getting pushed over play after play is moving around technically

To me it seems like he was saying that one player REALLY stood out to him (Parker?) in a good way, but aside from that he was pleased with the effort from everyone out there.

Funny how this is subject to interpretation. I read it as one individual player standing out for not putting forth the effort. :idk:

could be grimes. would align with what a lot of other people (us included) we're seeing or at least reading from the updates
