I'll Start this off with 2 of my former favorites.. O. J. McDuffie and Kareem Abdul Jabbar, or was that ADBUL Jabbar. Anyway, these guys were pretty Damn good. But never got the Props..

recently jaimie nails, in 2002 i thought he couldve been a probowler but after injury never returned to form, he was a big, big, strong man.

One would have to be Jim Jensen. OJ Mcduffie, Doug Betters, AJ Duhe, Nat Morre and Bil Stanfill also come to mind

right now on the team ima have to say Chris Chambers

Chambers isn't underrated, nor is he overrated. He's rated right where he should be until he shows more consistency and has a couple 1000+ yard seasons. He's one of my favorite players and he has the talent to be one of the best, but I don't understand why everyone thinks he's underrated.

Most recievers with K yard seasons get upwards of 60 receptions, I doubt if the boys threw it Chambers way 60 times in any one season.

Bernie Parmalee never got enough respect. He had back to back seasons where he played very well, racking up 868 and 878 yards respectively. But when Jimmy took over he immediately replaced Bernie, who's carries dropped from 236 in 1995 to 25 in 1996. And forevermore after that, it seems that Bernie never got a chance to show what he could do as a RB.

No, BP was not an elite back, and he was never gonna lead the league in rushing. But he played well when given the opportunity, but never got near enough credit.

Good point. I remember when Bernie ran for a buck fifty on the Raiders. Won my beer stash for the week on that one

I'm gonna throw in A.J. Duhe...great player for us for 7-8 years, was a staple on our defense for a while. There are just too many to list though.

I agree that Jim Jensen was more or less under rated. I also think that Tony Nathan was underrated. I can remember a game against the jets where he caught a pass from marino and jumped over a guy and kept running.

As for Nat moore I liked him. But until Marino came into the league he just did not seem like that big of a name. We were always more of a running team before Danny came along so you didn't hear about the receivers much.
