Drew Brees should be a Dolphin for sure in my opinion, I also think we sign either Bentley or Mawae. We also sign DeShea Townsend, Mike Williams, and Lance Schulters. Mike Williams has talent and with Houck teaching him, he could be really good.

who do you think we sign? do you agree with me?

I agree about Brees, then I say we look at Bently and maybe Williams. But Mawae is old and prol doesn't have too many seasons ahead of him. We have ok Centers right now

agree

I have to agree with you on all points...I would rather have Bentley but
Mawae has always given Zach a ton of trouble and he would even be an upgrade for a year or two over what we have right now!!

Good points Playmaker1

thanks, dont get me wrong, I like Mawae even if he was a jet... which is easier said than thought! He would be a great help, but he is old, and coming off a season ended on IR. If we could get him for really cheep, Im all for it. But I have a problem spending alot of money on older guys who might not be able to contribute very much. His leadership would be the best addition though

LeCharles Bentley would be my choice. Mawae was great but is old and require us to address this position again in max 2 years. Hutch was transitioned tagged, so Bentley is the clear choice. The only thing is he could be highlly sought after driving his price up.

IMO Mawae (sp?) would be an outstanding pickup as long as he wants to be reasonable in salary demands. The guy is an ironman. Up until last year, and rookie year aside, he started every single game every single year. He's durable and no reason to think he won't come back from last year's injury.

I think Mawae would make a big impact on the OLine
as long as he came cheap then go for it

Bentley wants $5.6 mil per year with a $12 mil SB. Sign him and there goes most of your cap room. The Saints are currently $10 mil under the cap without cutting a single player (look for the Saints to dump 4-5 guys and get another $10-$12 mil next week). They found out what Bentley wanted two years ago and that's why they haven't tried signing him since. The Jags or Browns will pay Bentley the $5.6 mil he wants........
