Since Cameron already stated that he moved Chris Chambers as our Split End receiver, who could be our Flanker?
I really think that Hagan could be our Slot receiver, and I think Marty Booker lacks the speed. Ginn will be concentrating in the return game, Sutton and PK Sam have the gifts but they are highly untested.
Who will step up?

I think it will be Ginn and Hagan in the slot. Hagan needs to show he can catch, though, or I wouldn't put him anywhere but the bench. Chambers and Ginn could both be very effective in the slot.

We have try to get Ginn touches all over the field. He has too much speed (and we spent too much $$$) to not send him on a few fly patterns or deep posts. You don't spend a ninth overall to soley return punts.

I don't see Hagan playing the slot. Az Hakim was probably the best slot reciever in the league when he was with the Rams, he is perfect for the role. Just a thought.

Slot is usually played by a small fast reciever,in our case it will probably be Ginn.

We could see Ginn there

you guys have to understand Chambers played his best in the slot. And Ginn might be a decent slot guy, but his future is at flanker. People underestimate how big it was for our offense to draft him. Chambers in the slot and Ginn at flanker will be down right scary to defenses real soon.

i think it will be ginn but if i remember correctly chambers had his best year in '05 playing in the slot...

The year Chris Chambers made the probowl, he was our flanker if I recall correctly. We had him as #1, then Booker, Welker (slot) and Gilmore. Since Boston got injured, Gilmore moved up and we got Russell. So, I can see CC playing flanker, split end, or slot. He can excel at slot and split end, but he already made it to the pb as flanker. He is a very talented WR, even though we continue to put him down. If we had consistency at QB (same guy over a period of time, and a consistent QB as well) he would have better numbers and a better performance overall.

As I remember he was moved around a lot, he played the slot in some games, not full time but he had a some offensive snaps playing the slot reciver, the raiders game is the one that I remember with Chambers making big plays in the slot.

Now that you point that out, I do remember him playing in the slot.
