Who will be the next D.C. ?

Now that Mike Nolan has taken his talents to Atlanta, the big question is who will be the next D.C. I think the fins should hire Mike Singletary as their D.C. He has head coaching experience with the 49ers and we had success with Mike Nolan and he came from the niners and was a former coach there. IMHO he seems to be the perfect guy to run the defense and Philbin can get Sherman to run the offense with Peyton Manning at QB....all I can say is WOW! Think about it.

Not a fan of Singletary as a coordinator, especially if Sherman is here as OC. That makes two former head coaches with a first year head coach so there's about to be an ego problem. Also, has Singletary ever been a defensive coordinator? I know he was a linebackers coach but was did he ever take that next step or just jump straight to head coach? I get the feeling it will be Bowles to keep a form of continuity with the team, especially if there's the potential for change in the near future. Not my first choice but I'm still reading about potential candidates so it's hard for me to say at the moment.

Totally agree. All signs point towards Coyle first choice. I really hope they change things up. I don't understand how Bowles is considered so good. It's been said many times the secondary was the weakest part of the D. I think Philbin may be able to get 1 Packers asst and if Sherman doesn't come then he may need to use that for his OC. If not then maybe he gets his DC with it.
