First of I am a Mare fan and I would rather have him than Feely and the 6th

I always intended to make this poll when Mare was cut/traded.

I knmow some of you will say Mare will be better this year because of being in a Dome but kicking in Miami is a lot better than kicking in New York for a field goal kicker.

I would be shocked if Mare does not return to his 80% ways and I think after the year is done more of you will agree that this was not one of our good off season moves

Mods can you put a poll on this I'm not sure how to do it

Feely, because Miami won't bother trying to even have him kick anything above 50 yards while Mare will continue to be asked to kick 50+ yarders in New Orleans because they will be in a dome for 8 games on turf surface.

Lucky Olindo. Gets to kick on turf with no elements or dirt infield to contend with.

mare all the way feely is not that good it is not like it is an up grade remember that seattle game a few years a go i know mare has missed his fare share but i still think mare is better good luck mare lets hope feely can do better in miami

I think Mare will be better. I think Mare missed most of his field goals in the past few years mainly due to the elements -- the dirt infield, wind, etc. I really think he had a hard time adjusting to the elements and that caused him to miss so much. With at least half of his games now indoors, that really cuts down on the amount of adjustments he will have to make.

Then again, I'm hoping Feely's number of FG attempts are really low, but his PAT attempts are really high. So, maybe, his percentage could be better. :D

I think Mare will be back to the way he was throughout his career. I agree and think this was not a good offseason move. I wish him well and will remember him as the best kicker in Dolphins history.
Interesting to see how Feely does kicking on the infield dirt during the first half of the season. Still a painful memory watching Mare slip on that dirt twice against the pats a couple of years back

whats the point in having a kicker who cant try a kick over 50?? we are MIAMI...most of the time we need a kicker who can kick over 50, lol. our offense wont help....i still think we should draft a kicker tho...

Drafting a kicker is not such a bad idea.... unlikely since signing Feely. Pats sure did great signing Gostowski....which I hate to admit

That Jets game when Mare missed that 50 or so yarder, I still feel like we didn't put him in the best position to succeed.

For fantasy football, if it's a toss up between feeley and Mare, i'll be taking Mare.

I think Mare is going to have a better year but it's possible for Feeley to surprise some people. I just don't like his name "Jay fiedler A.J Feeley, and now Jay Feeley."

great job by Mueller. It's nice to have someone in charge that's going to be decisive in what he wants to do.

Feely will have moe than 1 try at + 50 this year IMO

I think Feely will. He doesnt have the cross winds that rip through the meadowlands this year except for when we play the jets in nj. Mare will find something else to blame his missed kicks in NO on like the lights indoors were too bright or something ridiculous
