They aren't in pads yet, so you have to use your gut feeling, the force, consult Omar or trek to the oracle at delphi.

Man.. we signed ANOTHER corner? I didn't even know this Eric Allen guy was in the league ;)

I think the coaches would prefer a veteran but I belive Sean will be impossible to keep off the field this year. Of course, a lot of rookies look good in OTA's and then stink it up in pads.

I put Sean Smith, only because we need someone to match up with Jenkins who is 6'4. I don't think Green would be able to handle him, but who knows

I see a lot of our games having different starters based upon who we play. Like the next week against the Colts, I'll expect Vontae to start, because their receivers are more on the finesse side, and hopefully Vontae would be able to bully them :D

Hey, if they're both good enough to interchange them like that then this draft was a great success even if all the rest bust. You do realize the odds both rookie corners become starting caliber aren't very good though.

Yeah, just hopeful thinking :D

Based on what I've seen the past few years though, rookie corners that are starting caliber are starting to become more and more common.. Revis, DRC, can't remember the others but I'm pretty sure there are more.

Either way though, I am confident they'll both get plenty of playing time in each game, even if they're not starting. I see them rotating somewhat like our d-line did last year. I don't know if they do that with corners though

I believe with his measurables and skills, one day Sean will be a good one, but as for now and the beginning of this season...Vontae, he is more battle ready, and he adds a little pop if you catch a pass in front of him, or run towards way.

sean smith will be the guy on the outside, opposite allen, on nickle packages vontae will come in and either take the slot guy or take allens spot while allen moves inside for the slot reciever.

well i don't know but they will most likely be taking on Roddy White Will Allen usually takes on the number 2 WR

I wouldn't be surprised if coaches do something crazy like a CB rotation depending on matchups. They did it a little last year in the 2nd NE game.
