Who will we look up to as face of the franchise?

Apparently JT will no longer be a Miami Dolphin which kills me but realize if we can get some value out of him, pull the trigger! I wonder who will assume the role like he and Zach had for us. I think I will go with Long.

I'd presume Porter would become the default leader of the defense. As far as the face of the franchise? That'd be Beck, if he wins the starter's job.

Beck has no credit going his way right now. Yes you can argue about the line being a problem but damn, how do you mess up so bad in 4 games? Joey Porter sounds. I still think we need more leaders on our team though.

Nevertheless.....as it stands now, clearly Bill Parcells is the face of this franchise. We need a player to become that. We will see who wants it in time.

If Ronnie Brown is healthy and back in his 2007 form, he will gain some cache as the only legit star on the team from years past. I don't think he is a great interviewer, but he isn't bad. So he will have the skills and the national recognition to merit camera time on ESPN

Interestingly enough, if Jake Long steps up quickly, we could have a LT spokesman. He is one of the most visible Dolphins who will have national recognition because of his draft status.

Of course, whoever is QB will be a natural choice, but if he only plays mediocre football, than he won't qulaify. If he does well (whchever one he is), he will immediately step into the role of spokesperson because there is really no one else.

On Defense, Joey Porter perhaps.

Just so long as Jay Feeley isn't the spokesperson!

I wonder how long that will last if he stays out of the limelight. While he is in a very passive way the face of the organization, the literal face that seems to show up in clips is Sparano.
