Who will (without a doubt) be cut.

Who will (without a doubt) be cut, or not resigned by the Dolphins. Here are my list of certanties. Please only include the big contracts.

Tebucky Jones
Junior Seau
Frerotte (If he doesn't restructure)
Madison (If he doesn't restructure)
Seth McKinney


That saves us approx. 16 million. With the restructure of Zach we should be looking good.
 
I think Mcintosh should be on this list, considering his salary and his recent run in with his wife, plus our draft position could allow us to select an OT or if ALABI is progressing as we all hope , to insert him there.

Ya, your right. I didn't calculate his salary into the 16 million number, as there was no salary to calculate.
 
so we are at about 20 million free? with your 16 million plus 4 million from McIntosh and whatever Howard gives us. We loss about 21 million I think
 
So you think Saban will keep all our other safeties? Was not Tebucky Jones supposed to be as talented as either Schulters, Tillman, or Bell before he got hurt? Don't you think we will cut Tillman or Bell especially if we draft a secondary guy?

no, we still need depth and Bell has played well. possibily Tillman gets cut

How could you forget Howard ??? He'll be cut before any of those...

Jones had a rough beginning of the year but was playing well when he got hurt. Still, with a &6.8 mil cap hit, I can't see him staying unless he re-signs...Schulters is far and away better than Jones or Tillman. Tillman also played poorly in the beginning of the season and came on pretty strong in the last half, particularly after Jones was put on IR...

You may be wrong, his contract runs through 09 which will give us 3 years of his dead cap.
 
Sorry, fat fingers...Tillman will probably not be cut with his salary (approx $ 850K)...Bell is a UFA and has to be re-signed but I would think he is one of Saban's priorities, unless he wants to leave...I'm just not sure of Jones...this D fits his talents well, but I can't shake off his poor play in the beginning of the season...
