Who Wishes that Ricky had Thrown the Ball

On that play where Ronnie handed off to Ricky and Ricky was going to pass I really wish he had been able to. I know that it was most likely a really smart play by him to just pull it back and take the loss of yardage instead of making a bad pass but I still wish he had been able to throw it because we had set it up so perfectly.

I would have liked to see what he had throwing the ball. But you're right he made the right decision to tuck it and run rather than throw a risky pass.

The best play would have been to throw it away instead of losing yards! So I guess I wish he did pass!

Wasn't Ronnie open too his left a few yards away? Seemed like he was but maybe he was covered.

We won the game with him not throwing it....maybe had he thrown it something bad would have happened and we could have lost. Even if it resulted in a touchdown....still doesn't improve the end result of a victory.

I can't recall seeing it in New Orleans or even Texas. He's always been a guy who just pounds the rock up the middle as many times as it takes to win the game, not any kind of finesse trick play guy.

I think his hands are too small to throw it properly. It may have come off like a lame duck.LOL!!! Good decision I think NOT to throw it

While doing the jake long thread, i saw that play over and over and noticed there was a safety on top of the receiver. I haven't seen him because he's out of the camera but i counted all the guys and there were 10, with one safety backside, it's obvious the other one was on the other end, "hidden"

Would of been pretty damn exciting to see that since that pass was going to Penny. However he made a smart move and tucked it and ran for no gain instead of possibly throwing a pick.

He did twice in N.O., but I didn't see them. He was one for two, though.

He made the right choice, from my angle it looked like the Chargers had everyone covered.

And yea, it looked like Penny was the intended receiver on that one.
