Who would you like better?

I was at a party on Christmas and of course sitting with all the guys talking football. Some one actually came up with a question I wanted to ask on here.

The question is : If Chad Pennington got the Dolphins to the Superbowl this year and won it, who would you favor as a fan more, Pennington or Marino?

Im not comparing anything, just asking a question that was brought up...I picked Marino for sure...just wanted to see what other fans had to say about it. No one in the group I was in chose Pennington. Im fans of both but Marino is the king of the castle here

Marino right now, but if Penny keeps this up for the next couple years a long with a Super Bowl victory, I may start leaning towards his favour.

Although Pennington winning a SB with Miami would be awesome I grew a Dolfan mainly because of Marino, he is my all time favorite player .

Pennington has done a tremendous job, to be honest i doubted he would be a good fit in here, i didn't like him a lot, but to see him carry on this team is awesome. He is my 2nd favorite dolphins QB, not just in the same league as Dan the Man.

and as i have said again and again and again and ..... 2008 AFC East Champs, yeahhh baby

I understand of course why people say Marino, but because im a younger fan and never saw marino play i would have to say Pennington. This still doesn't take anything away from Marino though he is the greatest Qb ever.

Yeah i didnt like him to much either but he's doing a good job here. so why not. And IMO the only QB'sthat are in the same league as marino are Montana, Elway, Young, and Kelly.

it's actually a very good question. I would choose Marino just because I had the pleasure of watching him play, and boy was he someone special to watch. If Chad takes the Fins to the SuperBowl and wins it.... man, it would rank right up there. That would be the best story ever.
