Volek is a good QB, Matt Shaub can run pretty decent for a QB that isn't a pure rushing qb like mcnabb or vick, but Gus knows Scott L.'s offensive scheme and it seems to be working for us as a team. For now, I would take Gus over the other two, but if Billy or Shaub would be in the market for a trade or free agent signing, I would take Shaub to bring in and see what he has to offer when he is the leader of the team and not coming in to replace the starting QB(plus, Volek signed a contract extension with the Titans...I think).
 
Mobility isn't all it's cracked up to be!! Give me a great pocket passer over a great running QB any day.
 
i know sage is better than frerotte on madden 06. my friend threw for like 300 yards on me. but madden is not real life.
 
matt hes one of my fav QB's in the nfl he could be amazing given the chance
 
Schaub and volek i both like alot, but gus frerotte this year, he's doing just fine.
 
Volek has the most skill out of those QB's......... but If gus keeps this up..... he's stayin in the system!

This was in a post a little while back. Matt Schaub can, and in my opinion will be a starter in this league. He is mobile, smart, and a natural leader. I was dying for us to draft him. Atlanta would be foolish to let him go as much as Michael Vick gets nicked up.
