Yeah its a million to one shot , but hey ya never know.

Ok , NE looses to NO that makes them 7-4 and us 5-6

we beat NE next week that makes them 7-5 and us 6-6

you see where im going with this.

You just never know.
 
At where we are now, I think WC is our best chance. We need to just look at this one week at a time and try to knock off the Pats. At least we have them at home.
 
I would be more hopeful if we still had ronnie, will allen and ferguson playing but idk just seems to tough.

ya but now the diffrence is that even if that scenario does happen, in order for us to get a tiebreaker over the pats now, they would need to lose to buffalo to give them a 3rd divison loss. prob not happening.

The Pats might destroy New Orleans tonight. Even if they dont, the Pats have a weak schedule the rest of the way. Even if we beat the Pats next week and get within one game of them, they probably wont lose again the rest of the year.

Reality is we have to win out to either win the division or get a wildcard. Do you see us winning out?

I will get excited about us possibly getting in the playoffs again this year when we win the next 3 games and have 2 home games left as a win them both and youre in scenerio. Otherwise, just end the playoff talk now. Really.
 
The Pats will be on a mission tonight.. you better believe they will come out firing on all cylinders.. First the Pats want to bury the AFC East.. winning tonight will pretty much do it.

The Pats will want to make a statement to the entire NFL saying they are the Top Dawg team of the league..

The game will be Prime Time on MNF and lastly, the Pats are the last team to go 16-0 and will do everything they can to break New Orleans..

I predict the Saints will lose their first game tonight..
 
Only another week to go and then all the "doing the math"..."wishing upon a star" threads will be terminated for good...

Then we can all focus on what REALLY needs to be done for this team to start talking about playoffs...

Miami won't be favored in a single game for the rest of this season...and for good reason.....

Right now the best thing that can happen is for Miami to lose out....secure a top 15 draft pick....and FORCE these Triads to make some tough decisions in the offseason...

Forget about catching the Patriots. It's the Wildcard teams we need to watch. We may not deserve a playoff spot but we certainly are still alive, along with half of the AFC, in the race for one.
 
Im not relying on any false hope by other teams losing when we didn't take care of our own business. Even if we do by some miracle make the playoffs, we really don't deserve to be there. I think we are still a few years and players away from being a real contender. Right now we just don't have the personnel to be competive with the elite teams.

And NO doesn't want to prove to everyone that their for real? I predict NE's weak pass rush and suspect secondary gets torched!
 
If we win out we are in...Unless the Ravens and Broncos Both win out..

The teams we are right in it with all lost yesterday..

Texans Lost..
Jags Lost
Steelers Lost

So yea WC is our best bet...

Its not gonna be easy..

Thats even if we get past the Pats
