Sage or Cleo. We have a chance to replace Gus this week against Cleveland. Saban says, don't sweat the standings just keep working on improvement. Sure Sage knows the team and the system, but does it matter. If Cleo has a stronger arm and more mobility, what do we really have to lose starting him. Sage would probably be given a conservative game plan anyway. He can kickback with Gus holding clip boards together. And we throw Cleveland a curve ball with nothing to lose and everything to gain. NFL natural selection....

Sage has mobility and has a strong arm. Cleo isn't that much more talented than he is.

You better be kidding

Two QB's and two Running backs....in the backfield at the same time....I'd pay money to see that. Something like the old four horsemen.

It would be entertaining to say the least. It would have to be two QB's like the Vicks though.

I say Sage becuase I know nothing about Lemon and I've never seen him throw one pass. I'd be foolish to go with someone I've never seen play.

cleo, from what i can tell, is just pure talent. He's not ready by any stretch of the imagination. I'd like to see him in our last two games, but not yet. i think sage deserves his shot first.

How would anyone of us know? Neither has been thrown into the fire yet for any extended look

No way Cleo is ready for any kind of action. Sage is the man if Frerotte is not ready.

From what I saw in the preseason, Lemon has more potential than Sage. However, it has nothing to do with arm strength or mobility. They both have enough. The difference is that Lemon has more feel for the game.
