Anyone else going to the joint practice with the Panthers this week in Spartanburg?

Any locals near there have any tips about Carolina's training camp setup and procedures or anything?

Dolphins-Panthers scrimmage

Anyone else going to the scrimmage on the 19th or 20th? I will be taking my son to his first Panthers practice trying to get his Newton Jersey signed...but as a Fins fan I will be watching my fish live for the first time since 02!

11 posts in 5 years? Lol I think that's the worst I've ever seen on finheaven. Oh well have fun at the scrimmage. I just took my son to TC and had an absolute blast. We met Tannehill and got his autograph on a Dolphins helmet He's a really great person.

I am going to the scrimmage but I don't know the setups or procedures. I know it's free but do you have to reserve tickets or anything, or do you just show up?

Yes, my son and I are in Columbia and plan to go but I haven't seen any details. Does anyone have any info on the time, cost, etc?

I assume because they are the "Carolina" Panthers and try to cater to both North and South Carolina for marketing. All I can come up with.

Panthers owner is a Wofford College Grad. Wofford college is locate in Spartanburg, SC.

I work at Wofford amongst other places as a freelance tv production guy. Panthers PR sets up their own HQ in the Wofford football press box. Wofford pretty much opens all doors to panthers employees, but I'm sure they pay a pretty penny to the college.

Also a reason to call them Carolina Panthers.

My only advice - get there early! Parking is extremely limited at Wofford. Especially right now they are under construction on two sides of the training camp facilities - Wofford is building a new Bball arena and a new Greek row.

other than that it's free and will be crowded.

I'm still debating on going. Crazy heavy workload these days so it might be an act of God if I can get down there. Def going to the game tho.

I'm going to Thursday's practice and super excited to finally get to see my first NFL practice. Planning on going up Wednesday night to avoid trying to drive three hours Thursday morning.
