Tough Question, eh??

Hmm..... sit a ponder a bit.

Jimmy Smith - when your HC isn’t happy with you despite a 10 receptions, 123 yards and 1 touchdown performance, you know you are 1. a huge part of the O and #2 good. And Smith plays hurt a lot.

Marvin Harrison. Hands down. They guy is ALWAYS open.

T.O. He's to big of a play maker.

You forgot to put RICE up there he's way better then moulds.

I think Boston and Moss have the best qualities and abililities, but aren't showing it this year. The are just superior athletes. Production wise tho, it HAS to be Harrison....if he gets 3 cathes this week he is the FASTEST player to reach 600 in his career, and he would do it ONE FULL SEASON FASTER than #2 on the list, Herman Moore. The guy is always open, as somebody pointed out.

The 2 Smiths are on the decline, somebody pointed out his big day against the Giants, but did you watch the game? Smith couldn't beat press coverage in the first half, almost all his numbers came in the 4th qtr when the G-men were killing them and playing softer coverages....#s don't always tell the whole story.

Some names left off the list that should be there are Booker, who has no offense around him, Ward and Burress in Pittsburgh....those 2 are amazing, may be the BEST combo in the league....not just because of last week either, they are legit STARS.

I will vote Jimmy Smith because I used to work with him in a grocery store in Jackson, MS when he was in highschool at Jackson Callaway. He was as nice a kid as you would ever want to meet. His sr year, they played my alma mater and one of our players made a late hit out of bounds and gave him a concussion. He was at work the next morning. We had some kids that went to a private school that called in sick that morning because they had a hangover. If not for that, just watching the fits these guys give dbs, Terrell Owens, they can't tackle the guy after the catch.

OOOOOOOOOO nice question (what constitutes best?). Personally, I would gladly take Harrison, Smith or Owens as first choice. Is the question based on production, attitude etc??

As an aside, Eric Moulds seems to get a lot of the kudos for Buffalo but Peerless Price deserves a little more credit. I have been impressed with some of his open-field moves leading to big plays.

Never mind Randy....you get the biggest schmuck award!

I go with Terrell Owens. He's so sick that every passing touchdown can probably be attributed to him in some way, even the ones he does not catch. Good example was the one a week or so ago to some scrubby receiver over the middle who was covered by a linebacker because the other team triple covered Terrell Owens

FYI - There's a limit of 10 when posting polls. So I had to eliminate a couple of WRs that I initially wanted on the list. :)

Harrison, with Owens closely behind...Man is constantly double teamed, is matched against the best cb's, and has had an even tougher road this year with James hobbled, yet continues to dominate. The man has high 90's, triple figures receiving, 12 or more tds each year, and rarely disappoints. That he accomplishes all this while being so slightly built(5'11, 185 soaking wet) is also amazing.

Harrison has the stats right now but I think consistantly it's T.O.
