Assuming Linehan gets a HC job, who do you think will be hired as our OC?

I am not sure does anyone know any Offensive minded people that our on the market that have worked with Saban before?

I assume Baggart also but there are alot of people just as good as LInhan out there.

Charlie Baggett.
Which might be why Saban wanted him to tag along with Linehan instead of keeping one of the best WR coaches in the game (Jerry Sullivan). Saban must've known Linehan would be considered for a HC job, and Baggett has been with Linehan long enough to know the system and keep it running without missing a beat next year.

That, and Baggett was on Saban's staff for four years at MSU. You have the Linehan factor and the Saban factor. He may be the perfect choice to help keep team chemistry and continue to run the same gameplan.

Like you said, Saban thinks far into the future with his coaches. From day one he probably had some sort of idea on who would take over for Linehan. For example, he is probably grooming Tim Davis to eventually someday take over for Houck. Same thing with Travis Jones someday taking over for Dan Quinn.

Look out for Rich Rodriquez, the OC of West Virginia. He and Saban have been working together for a while. Wouldn't mind him coming in to work with Baggett.

Isn't Rich Rodriguez the head coach at WVU? I think it might be hard to keep Baggett and bring in someone like Rodriguez. Rodriguez would probably want to be the OC if he made the jump from Head coach in college to the NFL. Same thing with Baggett, he is probably going to want to become the OC.

Plus, doesn't Rodriguez run a spread offense? I think Saban wants a Joe Gibbs type offense.
