This is just for fun! I know Fins need to win out and everything needs to fall into place and theres a realistic chance we could miss the playoffs but still who would be the best matchup for the Fins assuming we made the playoffs...

Denver?
Baltimore?
San Diego?
Cinci?
NE?

I'm really not sure who I'd want to face? Each team has strong pros and cons.

I think I'd automatically take Baltimore off the list only bc I fear them the most. Sure they are not the same anymore but as long as you got Ray Lewis, Terrell Suggs, Haloti Ngata and Ed Reed, thats a dangerous team come playoff time.

Cinci's D is (almost) as good as it gets. Plus with them finally getting back to the playoffs, that home crowd is going to be electric. Ochocinco will light us up as well. No thanks.

New England come playoff time has a whole different attitude. We already beat them once and probabilities would state we woud lose the next one. As much as I hate Belicheck, he comes through in the playoffs.

I think I'd prefer to play one of the AFC West teams.

Chargers are hot right now but their run defense is not that great and that falls perfectly into our hands. On the flipside though, Rivers to Gates and Jackson would be deadly on our struggling secondary.

The team I'd choose would be the Broncos. As good as they've been playing, I still scratch my head at this team. There defense is playing well and their offense seems to be playing just well enough but I dont know about Kyle Orton. He doesn't strike fear in me. Brandon Marshall, on the other hand, does. This would be a home game for us though (most likely given the scenarios) and I'd choose to play the Donkeys.

I feel like we have a good shot against any AFC playoff team. But I'd most prefer to square off against the Broncos. After that it's mostly a wash for me.

If Miami and New England both get in, doesn't the NFL alter the normal seeding so that two division teams don't face each other in the first round? Or is that only MLB?

Sean smith has to pick it up man, i know u guys are excusing him for being a rookie but if we want a shot at the playoffs this kid needs to stop playing like a woosie, props to gibril wilson for being tough on the kid and not congratulating someone aka jason taylor when they **** up. I like sean smith but hes playin like a girl out there, doesnt tackle and doesnt make plays, he hasnt made up for any of his mistakes, it not looking good for sean smith. Looks like we will be drafting another cb.

There's really no team that we can't beat but going on how our season unfolded we probably should avoid teams with great TE's. So really that only means SD because Denver really does not use T.Scheffler at all, a real waste of not using his talent.

I think we could be the team nobody wants to face if we end up getting in because we'll be on quite a role. Indy will have 35 days without playing any meaningful football and could struggle to find their stride again.

Wow. Im shocked you dont know that considering youre one of the few that understands the procedures to break ties around here.

Really, if it werent for that I would hammer the **** out of you right now for not knowing that. Id at least call you lost.

Seriously though, of course you can play someone in your division in the first round. Happens ALL THE TIME in the NFL. Havent you watched the playoffs before? 4 seed vs 5 seed and 3 vs 6 is very commonly 2 divisional teams matching up. Its only baseball where the wildcard team cant play their division winner in round one.

To answer the question, Id feel comfortable playing any wild card team in Miami. If we win the division, I see us advancing this season. We have played very well at home and I could see us defeating any of the teams that could be a wildcard.

If we are a wildcard, I really dont like our chances of defeating any of the division champs on the road. It could happen, but its a lot less likely. NE is undefeated in their building. The Bungles I think would be our best matchup if we were a wildcard.

I see us getting in as division champs should we get in though.

I want NE to lose to the Bills and us to win the rest. I want the SD first and then play the colts to win AFC then we can play the saints in Superbowl. Sense everyone else wants to think ahead why not say this we all know what needs to happen it getting old. I know this says just for fun, but we or any fan sounds like a idiot when the predict. Tell me if jets was doing this tell me we would not make fun of it.

It fills like the week before the bills game when every said if do this if we do that we make it WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. Let me guess what everyone threads and post will be after if we lose... "The season is over now." "Lets cut this person and that person cause that will make everything better.

On other note, I am nervous as hell for this game and i am so glad i got tickets earlier in the season for very cheap. Guys looking ahead only set you up for heart break. This game is going to crazy to it 4th quarter 00:00 on the clock...GO FINS!!!!
