who the heck is cam cameron?he is not the big name coach we all deserve here with the dolphins how in the world do you sell this name to the fanbase it's a bad job end of story wayne should have brought us bill cowher at least as a consultant in 2007 then get him for free in 2008 please i am so pissed at this hire its a joke this franchise is now a big joke win i think not wayne your full of hot air like satan was!
 
wayne needs to do whats best for this organization...and that is for him to step away from any decisions that need to be made...cameron has no pedigree whatsoever. he is trendy because he coached LT and gates. Even Rivers was terrible down the stretch.

If you want to go by the true definition of pedigree, Cameron's is Bob Knight, Bo Schembechler, and Marty Schottenheimer. I'm not sure you could have a much better "pedigree."
 
for the most part, the praise from this site is coming from the fact that hes not Gailey or Mora.

I've always wanted him from day one though. Hes going to implement an offense that actually works. Something we havent seen in years.
 
There are no big name coaches, Cam is one of the best avalible. What coach with ANY self respect would agree to coach the team for one year, bringing in cowher as a consultent would only rub any possible candidates the wrong way. Cowher dosnt want to coach this year and we dont need to give up any draft picks for cowher, im tired of giving away picks like its frekin christmas.
 
hey ohiobryan, why you don't get over the Bill Cowher fantasy. We need to build through the draft. Maybe your overall knowledge of the game is not as strong as your love for the Dolphins. To say that this franchise is a joke for not giving up draft pics to get the guy YOU want is laughable. Do you know how many first round draft pics we have had in the last seven years? We need to build through the draft. And trading pics away for coaches AT THIS TIME is not the right thing to do.
 
Bill Cowher is not AVAILABLE this year. He'd never agree to be a consultant. He's a future Hall of Fame coach. We already have Marino and Don Shula as consultants. Saban bolted in 2007, not in 2008. Cowher *might* want to coach again in 2008. Who knows?

Crack me up!!! When was the last time Knight had rapes, thefts, and stabbings with his players? Because that is what IU got with Cam as coach.
 
Cameron is absolutely the best candidate available.Where have you been for the last 5 years? He's Charger offenses have been throwing up points like wild fire. He's a proven offensive whiz. Our team needed that in the worst way. There was no one else available that comes close! We should be excited: for the first time in 10 years we have a head coach that is OK with the offense winning the game!
